What a improvement food excellent,went last night , thanks chef 1st class , the staff who served us very good and did who that could be done, look forward to the next returning soon

Christmas Party 2022. A lovely venue, excellent food, great staff and a great party. We were a table of 10 friends and we all enjoyed the 'singing Cabbie' and danced the night away, looking forward to the 2023 Christmas Party.

I wouldn't book this place. After attending a funeral wake here, on the hottest day of the year they closed the bar complaining that there were too many people on the grounds and there was problems with the customers. Initially they closed the bar for 20 minutes at 7pm but then failed to reopen. There was a large number of elderly/children and given there are no shops nearby this is totally unacceptable. Especially at a time of hot weather and sorrow. Some even questioned if it was racial as accusations by thrown around by the staff were that of racial content. However the grounds themselves are very lovely although parking minimal.

I went to the Abba Tribute Night with 5 friends. We were welcomed into the garden with a glass of wine or orange juice as I don't drink. We went into the House to sit down to a very nice meal which was served quickly and efficiently. Tasty food. The dancing begun as soon as the meal was finished. A very enjoyable night and lots of dancing

I went to the Abba tribute night last weekend and it was absolutely brilliant. It was so well organised and staff were very helpful. Had a great time and can’t wait to visit again for Queen night!!

Back again for ABBA Night and Oakley House never disappoints! Welcome drinks in their beautiful garden followed by a delicious meal and an amazing ABBA tribute 🕺. The hall was decorated with a grovey 70s theme with multi-coloured ceiling lights and disco-balls. Service was 5* and the dance floor was packed all night! A night to remember for the dancing queens!

Attended the recent Abba night and it was a great experience, friendly staff and food was definitely good value for the cost.

I went to Abba night and can’t doubt a thing, overall the food, the abba act was simply amazing can’t wait to book again in the near future. Thank you to everyone

Weekend stay. Beautiful grounds and accommodation. Fantastic Japanese dinner experience with Chef Akira. Superstar Martin, was incredibly knowledgeable and added to the experience when he paired the meal with sake and amazing organic wines. Will definitely be back here …
Next time make sure you have table tennis balls 😉

Great venue and staff to match! Been to a wedding as well as a few other events over the last few years here! Can never fault the staff who are always happy to help and serve to the highest standard. Food is on the same level as the quality venue and staff and always have an enjoyable meal here, if it’s the buffet at the weddings or the sit down meals it’s always a 5 star experience!!

Great place, great staff. Would thoroughly recommend this venue having held my 21st party here before lockdown. The staff were incredibly helpful from the moment I booked and nothing was too much bother. I have also been to many weddings at this venue and again I cant fault it for the cleanliness and helpful staff. Thank you Oakley House I will be sure to use you for any future events and will recommend you to anyone needing a venue in the future.

Attended my cousins wedding at this venue last summer. The ceremony was held outside in the garden and was decorated beautifully. After the ceremony we had drinks outside before entering the big hall for the wedding breakfast, the food was delicious with generous portions, people still talk about it now! The whole day was fantastic and the venue was stunning. Highly recommended!!

Had our wedding here two years ago, couldn't fault a thing! We were first shown around by a lovely lady Jody from the main office who was very welcoming and friendly, Jody and Heather helped us all the way through the planning process, putting us at ease! The day was perfect from start to finish and the food was very tasty! I wish we could do it all over again!

Very friendly and helpful team. Had a great time and felt looked after by all the staff the whole time I was their. Will definitely be using this great venue again!
