So I ordered a table from OAKO in December and despite it being delivered 3 months later, Anete and the team has been incredibly supportive and responsive. I also got a desk pad as a gift for the delayed delivery. Yes there were frustrations along the way but the table is absolutely worth and stunning! 5 stars despite the hurdle as this is meant for long time use!

The desk's craftsmanship and quality beyond my expectations. The desk feels really substantial, and the thick wood is lovely. This product was obviously made with a great deal of care.

Nice desk, easy to setup.

Downside, their communication is all written by AI which I hate.

It took me forever to assemble the desk and by the end the desk is still 10% unfinished. It was a big struggle when drilling the screws even with an electric screwer. It was almost impossible for some of the screws to drill completely why the desk is 10% unfinished.

The product is not at all premium quality! The surface of the desk feels rough and not at all quality material. I placed a water cup on top of the desk and after removing it there is a mark left and the color have changed. I would suggest that you spend your money somewhere else! This is definitely not worth the price!

OAKO is a new company that shows promise, but there is room for significant improvement. The desks have an appealing appearance, and the team at OAKO consists of friendly individuals, which makes it perplexing why I would rate them only 2 out of 5 stars.

Before I purchased the desk, I reached out to OAKO to inquire whether my new (and expensive) monitor arm would be compatible with the desk. I provided them with the specifications, and they assured me it would fit perfectly. However, it turned out that it didn't fit for several reasons, which are the design of the desk and the possible attachment of a cable tray.

Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive email, marked with an abundance of red exclamation marks, which strongly advises against accepting the package if any (slight) damage is evident. Neglecting to follow this protocol leads to a nullified warranty. It gives the impression that OAKO is taking extensive precautions, though one may argue it appears somewhat excessive. Moreover, the packaging seemed notably minimal for an item making such a lengthy journey.

While the website stated a delivery timeframe of 20-25 days for the desk, unfortunately, mine took nearly 2 months to arrive and was incomplete upon delivery, with no communication in between. It took almost another month before the missing components finally arrived.

Even though the packaging wasn't damaged, the cable tray inside was. To their credit, they promptly refunded the cost of the tray.

Assembling the desk is a time-consuming and cumbersome process. It involves meticulous measuring, drawing, and calculations, which could be simplified. Additionally, the placement of the screw holes for the remote control to adjust the desk's height is extremely inconveniently placed and risks damaging the desk's side during installation.

The desk lacks stability, particularly when used as a standing desk. With a large monitor, there is noticeable screen vibration with every keystroke, even though my desk is on a solid floor and all screws are tightened. This was not an issue with my previous IKEA desk.

In summary, while the desk has an attractive appearance, it falls short of a premium quality product and is unfortunately not worth its price, even with a continuous 40 % discount.

For a 1000+ € desk, I'd expect some pre-drilled holes and a better finnish regarding the wood.

The electronics feel cheap and the overall sturdinness left a bit to be desired.

Otherwise it looks at feels nice. The desk felt steadier when carrying more weight.

I ordered a 180cm by 80cm "Mahogany" desk at Oako. It took a few weeks to be delivered but the wait was WELL worth it.

The wood of the desk is just beautiful and very well made. It feels very smooth, even on corners and edges. When receiving the order I noticed immediately that the package containing the support for the desk was by far the heaviest. This makes for a very stable setup, even when the desk is extended all the way.

There was a slight damage to my cable tray which happend during transit. This was, just as all other communication, handled swift and accordingly.

I would highly recommend an Oakly desk as a functional eye-catcher for your place of work.

I am really in love with my Oako Denmark desk 😍 I use him for a couple of weeks now and it is such a beautiful desk for my office. I have the walnut finish and the electric motors work perfectly and pretty silent! The desk is at full height really sturdy and doesn't jiggle around like other brands I have tested out.

The wood finishing is beautiful and the assembling the desk was really easy!

Ordered and received the golden crust solid oak desk in pristine condition. Customer service was helpful, and packaging sufficient. Can recommend getting one.

I bought the "Mahogany" Solid OAK Desk. It came within four weeks, assembly was easy. The desk is absolutely gorgeous and I love using it every day. The surface is very delicate. My desk is a bit shaky when I move it to the standing position because of slightly uneven ground and I will have to find a way to make it a bit more stable. Never place cups or bowls directly on the the surface and use the guide OAKO provides so you can have a long relationship with your desk. I can highly recommend the desk and OAKO's great and responsive customer service.

After suggesting my dad to buy an OAKO desk because of the great first impression online and him spending a lot of time in Home-Office due to the pandemic, I was amazed by the quality and looks of the desk. He chose the mahogany and I started to see the benefits of a height adjustable desk myself and eventually got the same one myself (as well of some of his colleagues who saw it). As I had some questions beforehand I can now also give 5 stars to the customer support who was responsive, friendly and always able to help. Overall great experience, happy how the desk elevates the quality/looks of the whole room. I will suggest these desks to every other friend/family member who wants to upgrade.

This is certainly the best standing desk you can have - it is worth the money, it looks and feels absolutely stunning and top of it, you are supporting a sustainable company. What is not to like! The delivery to Switzerland was quite fast. The assembly took us a bit of time but boy how it was worth it! I am absolutely in love with it!

This is my first standing desk ever, I am so happy I chose Oako Denmark. The quality of wood is beautifully amazing!

I had a really wonderful experience with the customer service support they provided and always responded back promptly. I had originally ordered a smaller desk (120x80) with a draw, but Oako reached out to me and did provide expert advice to say that the draw would reduce my leg space if I chose to go with the smaller desk ("Mahogany" solid oak desk). They offered great suggestions on which they felt would be a suitable size desk for the area after I provided the details and even photos of what my current setup was. Based on their instructions, I had to cancel my order completely due to the changes I wished to make to the order. I placed a new order for a slightly larger desk (140 x 80), but still, the draw would still potentially limit my leg space. So I decided what's more important, the leg freedom or some storage? And for me, leg freedom was the best choice. So I decided not to get the draw this time. I ordered a large monitor stand and filing cabinet as well, both in "Mahogany" solid oak. I had paid via Pay Pal for both orders and due to the currency change, though Oako Denmark did refund the correct amount in EUR, the conversion back to pound sterling was greatly different from the few days when I originally ordered. So did receive a lower refund back. I raised the issue to Oako Denmark and they kindly did reach out to PayPal in hopes of helping, to confirm this was not the fault of Oako Denmark but more of PayPal and the conversion rates Euro to GBP. Oako Denmark kindly offered to provide me with a long leather mouse pad as free of charge due to the currency change issue I had experienced. They gave me a choice of colours, and I chose black (it matches really well and looks amazing with the black desk legs and cable tray). After receiving my completed order, building the desk together was surprisingly easy to do. You do have to be accurate in putting in the legs and pushing in well (please be careful of the cables when doing so), being sure to tighten the bolts correctly. I have received many compliments on my desk already from friends and family, and can't wait to show it off to others. If you are looking for a strong standing desk that looks amazing, I suggest choosing Oako Denmark. I would happily order from them again.

Oako's desks caught my eye over a year ago and I finally bought one on the 10th of June. It arrived on the 13th of July.

It took me a couple of hours to put the desk mostly together. I say "mostly" as one of the bolts that holds the foot to the leg was deformed and wouldn't thread. The pack does not include any spares and a replacement took over a week to arrive. My house is not huge so having the large desk in bits lying around was an inconvenience.

Now that the desk is built, it's pretty great though. The wood looks and feels amazing, the desk is solid, and the motors to adjust the height are powerful and quiet. I enjoy using it a lot and I love the ability to give presentations while standing up.

The delivery was made via a pallet network for the final mile in the UK, which surprised me as pallet networks are notorious for damage versus proper 1-man or 2-man delivery providers. Pallet networks are used mainly for cheaper products that are less susceptible to damage in order to keep costs down. The desk was packaged well though and the driver was super friendly. I helped him carry the boxes so it was not a huge deal.

One thing I wondered was whether UK customs would charge VAT so, for any UK customers wondering the same, they did not in my case.

I am so so happy with this purchase. The desk is absolutely gorgeous and so well and meticulously crafted. It perfectly suits my room and overall I couldn't be happier with this investment! It took roughly a month and a half for it to be delivered from the point of purchase but the delivery time was clearly stated on their site and to be expected.

Very good quality of the desk with the perfect functionality. Looks perfect and suits to any home style.
Also have to notice the outstanding support who helped to resolve a guarantee issue at no cost. Strongly recommend them.

Amazing product. I bought the "Golden Crust” Solid OAK Desk. The build quality is second to none but the true highlight is the wood quality. It's simply stunning. The assembly was relatively easy (would be great if OAKO could add markers illustrating the intended position of screws on the wooden surface).

The customer support is also exceptional. I had a minor issue with the sensitivity level of the motion control. I was able to resolve it with Maija's help within the hour.

I would definitely recommend OAKO.

The customer service was outstanding at all points, they went out of their way to ensure they could source the materials for the desk accessories that were out of stock to ship with my desk. The quality of the desk is outstanding and looks fantastic. Assembly was quick and easy even on my own. Can't fault the product at all.

The only down side is that international delivery companies have a bad habit of trashing the items they are delivering. Luckily, despite the extensive damage to the packaging, Oako had done a great job of keeping the items protected and the desk and accessories themselves remained un-damaged.
