We've been with Office Pantry almost for a year, but more committed in the last 6 months. We have been working with Kai, who has been nothing but helpful and accommodating. OfficePantry (Our Honest Foods Limited) are just marketers who send you fruit which is supplied by a farm shop business close to you. They will always say these are THEIR depots but they are, in fact, independent businesses who are held to some kind of contract by Office Pantry.
I have seen the fruit supplier's invoice to Office Pantry and, for something costing my office £20 a box, Office Pantry is being charged just £13. GO DIRECT TO A LOCAL FARM SHOP - they deliver for FREE too!
A lot of fruit was sent mouldy or just 'wrong' (peaches in NOVEMBER which were firm and nice=looking on the outside but brown in the middle when you bite in, with a mouldy stone).
For every complaint about bad fruit, the rep was very distant and dismissive and just shrugged it off with excuses (and this was happening on a WEEKLY basis!)... was always promised replacement fruit the next week and nothing was received. On complaining that no extra fruit was being sent to us, we were just ignored and when it all came to a head this week, they just told me: "You weren't telling us you weren't receiving replacements!" PAH!
Snack boxes VERY overpriced. 40 items for £40+VAT but some are so small and in no way worth £1 each!!
Once the box arrived torn open and we counted only 35 items. Reported 5 items missing and just received yet another dismissive "oh well" response with, yeah you guessed it, NO REPLACEMENTS!
They might be trying to be a young and hip business (lots of emails smothered in irritating emojis, the kind of thing that looks unprofessional and just makes you sick), but they are just a 'middle man' when it comes to fruit and they need lessons on TELLING THE TRUTH and CUSTOMER SERVICE!
DO NOT DARE chase up replacements for damaged fruit - they will turn on you!
