Off the Wall (Ian and Sarita) is definitely the company to use if you want to trek or holiday in Nepal. And particularly the wonderful Sarita who organised the trip of a lifetime for my husband and I and allowed me to achieve my childhood dream of 47 years. It was worth that wait!

We had 3 weeks in Nepal which included sightseeing in Kathmandu and its surrounding area and 15 days trekking to Kala Pattar and Everest Base Camp.
Everything was super well organised from meeting us at the airport, organising a late helicopter to Lukla as our flight was cancelled and making sure we had everything we needed including crampons spikes!

Sarita found us an awesome guide, Himal and an amazing porter AK and they made the trip for us - they were both exceptional. And she was in constant contact behind the scenes making sure everything was going well.

Himal was superb - highly organised, relaxed, easy going, unassuming, flexible and great fun while ensuring we were safe, healthy and happy.
We had unexpected rain and heavy snow for a few days but nothing dampened our spirits with both guide and porter supporting us especially on the climb up Kala Pattar in a good couple of feet of snow and glorious, hot sunshine. And the early morning trek to EBC in the snow was beyond magical.

The whole trek was made easy for us. No issues with fitness, altitude or health. Accommodation was as least as expected and at times better with the exception of a night in a tent which was just part of the experience! But made up for with other room upgrades.

The itinerary on the way down was completely changed by Himal to allow us to add a trek to Ama Dablam Base Camp - a truly special experience.

Definitely go for the personal, bespoke trek offered by Off the Wall - just the 2 of us with our guide and porter was absolutely fantastic and allowed us great flexibility.

And it's worth heading to Nagarkot for a day or two of R&R on your return. Sarita arranged an amazing stay for us at the Club Himalaya before heading back to the wonderful Hotel Barahi in Kathmandu.

Truly if you are looking for a trip of a lifetime Off the Wall are definitely the company for you. It certainly won't be our last trip, trek and holiday to Nepal and I wouldn't consider using anyone else.

My daughter and I have recently returned from such an adventurous expedition put together by Off The Wall Trekking. Sarita left no stone unturned. She was always available to answer questions in the many months leading up to the trip, and always exceedingly helpful. The expedition team they put together was great. I met Sarita, from Off the Wall, on my first trip to Nepal in 2015. My intention was just to fly over the Base Camp as I believed I wouldn't be able to do it over land. Unfortunately, that year I couldn't take the helicopter tour because the airspace was closed due to a political meeting that coincided with the days I was in Kathmandu.
I returned to Nepal a few years later when I was finally able to do it. I dream of visiting Everest.. but this time I did the trek accompanied by Sarita who gave me all the support so that I arrived healthy and safe at Base Camp.. We walked from Lukla to Base Camp.. unforgettable experience. Im absolutely sure that without her knowledge and patience I wouldn't have been able to make my dream come true. And, hope I can do it again after I retire, with more time to spend and that wonderful nature.
