Why o why did I not go onto trust pilot about this so called company. All th reviews are totally accurate as the same thing has happened to me, they now have my daughters photograph, personal details and NI number. I paid £14.75 just to receive the application form and since then nothing, this was about 5 weeks ago SCAM SCAM SCAM. Do not use this company even the telephone number is invalid, I have since rang my bank and contacted the fraud team fingers crossed they will catch this man 👨

THIS IS A SCAM. Please believe the 100% 1-star reviews - I would give zero stars if possible. I don't usually post reviews but I'm trying to warn people not to make the mistake I did. I ordered an id for my son at the start of July 2022: sent off the forms, paid, sorted out someone to verify his id. Oneid did contact the verifier, who did everything asked of him, and then nothing happened. No id card, no update. I contacted customer service and got one email, three weeks ago, saying there 'must be a problem' with my application and they 'will have been in touch', so I should check my spam folder. This was just to delay things. There was no problem, there had been no contact, and I've had no response at all to any further emails; it's now mid-September. They have taken my money, they have a copy of my son's birth certificate and they have vanished. I am worried that they have taken my money but have done nothing and, worse, have my son's identifying information. AVOID. I am kicking myself for not looking up online reviews before I got involved - don't make my mistake.
I'm copying this review to Oneid. If it should provoke a response and things get sorted out then I will update this review. I'm not holding my breath. In the meantime I'm thinking about what legal action I can take.

I'm fairly confident this is a scam... my letter with all my personal documents for the application has been retained at the local post office. I've written multiple emails (can't find a contact number) and received no response, currently disputing the transaction in an attempt to get my money back.
Don't use, get a post office card!

Happy to take money for urgent processing 7+ weeks ago but then received nothing and no communication despite numerous emails, messages to social media's and through their own website- not a single acknowledgement or reply and no customer service numbers.
Managed to Google 'oneid4u telephone' and readily get hold of a very unhappy senior manager/ director who told me to email so I told him I had, many times and messaged other ways, just to be ignored.
I just want a refund now, unacceptable.
Applied through Post Office yesterday and card already in the post to us

I paid for a replacement card as the hologram was going on my other one and I still haven't had nothing I been waiting months it could be even 2 year its disgusting

So you pay download the forms get a referee to confirm they know the person in this case my son. We send the forms off late October and they contact the referee to verify everything. Sounds fine in theory but my son used his college lecturer so she missed their calls as was working and tried to call back only to get the engaged tone time after time. Now early February and no sign of the card feel weve been scammed. My son had emailed in to chase up only to have zero reply so unprofessional

(SCAM) I sent off for my daughter's id card also. Paid £25 did it so she didnt have to carry her passport around with her as id, id4u have not answered the phone for two days and ive also emailed them and got no response. What a scam. Im going to take this further as i have proof of reciept that payment went to id4u and sent it on fast. Been waiting weeks now Bad service.

Sent off for an ID card for my daughter on the 18th June. Paid £12.99 for the card and you get to download an application form. Once the form has been downloaded, you fill it in and send it off with a passport type photo. The form that you download has a price of £9.99 on it instead of the price that I paid of £12.99, should have rung alarm bells at this stage but just thought that they hadn't got round to amending the form.
I still hadn't received the card by the 29th June, so I contacted them. I got a fairly impersonal and curt response advising that the card would be in production the following week. Incidentally, this is two weeks since I posted the application form back to them, the form states that you should receive the card back within 10 days, and mine hasn't even gone to production! The card was needed for a festival on the 5th July, so I emailed them back to ask the likelihood of receiving the card by then. Again, another short, curt response stating that the card would leave them on Monday and should arrive in time (bearing in mind that they originally said it would be in production on that Monday!).
It is now 23rd July, still no card. I have emaild them a number of additional times and NOT RECEIVED A RESPONSE...not one. I appreciate that things get lost in the post, but don't ignore your customers, deal with it.
I have now started a chargeback to claim my money back from them as they have not made ANY attempt to sort this out.
Obviously NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY. I would advise to steer clear. A little customer service and advisory info doesn't go amiss. Things happen, stuff gets lost in the post, Don't leave a customer hanging...
