Very disappointing experience with this company.

I had to cancel my trip to Bali due to the situation in the Middle East, which made it impossible for me to travel via my planned route. This was completely beyond my control, and my flight was already cancelled.

Despite informing the company in advance, the only refund offered was AU$200 on a trip costing around €1300. I find this extremely disproportionate. Losing almost the entire amount in such exceptional circumstances is very hard to justify.

What made the situation worse was the lack of flexibility. Instead of a reasonable partial refund, I was offered a 40% discount on a future trip — but this was non-transferable and therefore not usable for me. In reality, this does not solve anything.

I understand that policies and contracts exist, but in situations like this, you expect a company to show some level of fairness and understanding. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. The overall handling felt rigid and, at times, quite insensitive.

I had been really looking forward to this trip, which makes the outcome even more disappointing. Sadly, this experience has affected my trust, and I would not consider booking with them again.

I had an amazing time on the tour in Japan! Our guide Daan was very knowledgeble about the history and culture of Japan and gave great recommendations for food and activities for during the free time. I hope to come back to Japan someday and explore the ones I didn't manage to visit during this trip. I loved the visits to the temples and learning about the customs and rituals, which made the expercience more special to me than if I would have visite without this tour. Daan put a lot of effort into the group bonding and took us to cool places next to the ones on the itenerary, like going to a local karaokebar in Kyoto as well as Osaka and a going to a sports arcade, that were so much fun and made the trip even better!

I just finished Philippines east as part of the 23 day tour. Bono the tour guide was so passionate, fun, and made sure we had the best time! He is an absolute gem and made the experience what is was.

My only recommendations would be (for 23 day trip):
* budget nearly double what they recommend. Tipping etc adds up. I spent nearly double the higher roller budget and didn’t do too many extra activities.
* east felt a lot busier and rushed than west. So maybe visiting east first to then finish with the chill west would be good! Or a rejig of the east itinerary for more time as 2 whole days were lost to travel.
Not complaints at all though just thoughts :) I will 100% be doing another tour and cannot recommend this highly enough!

Philippines east
Had an amazing time doing this tour just wish was longer by 2-4 days. Met an amazing group of people and our your guide Bono was fantastic, he really does love his job and country and is full of life.

The scenery the people the food the atmosphere was beyond anything I’ve ever experienced we went to important landmarks shared laughed learned great history and ate amazing food and got to do the stuff we also wanted to do in between it was perfect

I recently joined the 10 Days East Philippines Tour and overall had a really great experience. The itinerary offers an amazing variety of beautiful locations, and many of the included activities were genuinely impressive and already covered in the price.

A special highlight of the trip was definitely our guide, Bono. He put an incredible amount of effort into making this trip unforgettable for everyone. His energy, and genuine care for the group really made a difference and elevated the entire experience.

That said, there are a few areas where the tour could be improved. During snorkeling activities, the guides occasionally lost track of participants, and it was noticeable that some people were struggling without receiving enough attention.

Additionally, some of the optional activities felt a bit forced sometimes. In some cases, there was no real option to return to the accommodation, meaning you had to stay at the activity location and wait for others, even if you preferred to skip it.

While the destinations themselves were stunning, the tour felt quite rushed overall. Many stops were very short, and there were a lot of travel days, leaving effectively around 7 days to fully enjoy the places. A bit more time at each location would have made the experience more relaxing.

The accommodation was generally fine, but the dorms in some hostels (especially Boracay) were quite small.

Over all the tour offers incredible destinations, great included activities, and an outstanding guide in Bono.

Bono has been the most passionate tourguide i've ever met. Geniune life enjoyer and took such good care of the group.

Just finished the East Philippines tour with Bono as our tour guide. Bono was great, the whole group was fun to be around and we had a wonderful experience. Bono had great local knowledge and found us some amazing hidden gems like favorite water holes, water falls and local restaurants. He was always there for you whenever/whatever you needed and was very attuned to each guests needs. It’s clear that he really cares both about the Philippine culture and making the tour special for everyone. 5 Stars!

Had a great 10 day tour with our guide Bono!
I loved the mixture of beaches, nature and culture on this tour. The days were busy but very enjoyable. Bono was the best from day 1 and did an amazing job ensuring that everyone had the best trip possible.

I would definitely recommend this trip, Daan was informative and able to answer all questions we had as a group regarding all things Japan!
Some of the best parts of the trip where the additions that Daan suggested and took us on. The karaoke night in Kyoto was a firm favourite and gave us all a chance to have fun together. This trip was made even better because of the people that were on it! Friends who will keep in contact and enjoy hearing about their future travel trips. Daan was an excellent tour guide and would definitely recommend booking a tour with him!

Daan the tourguide knows exactly what he’s doing and makes the whole experience amazing. I felt carefree and I’ve learned a lot in a short period about Japan. He made sure the group connected well by taking us out for karaoke and he was always around when needed.

The tour was a wonderful adventure! Daan consistently made sure that we had clear instructions and information to prepare for the following day. He was incredibly knowledgable - both culturally and historically - when guiding us around each city and tourist attraction. The whole tour was efficient due to Daan’s organisation and punctuality: we always arrived to our destinations on time, were given time to explore as a group, and optional free time. Daan gave excellent recommendations and even tailored these to suit our preferences; he provided locations for every suggestion and remained available if we had any questions. Daan also provided the group with fun evening events - we had a games night in Hakone, and two karaoke nights (Kyoto and Osaka). Booking this tour was the best way to explore Japan. I’m very grateful for a wonderful experience with a lovely group!

Our tour guide Daan was the coolest. The tour itself was greatly organised! Never had to wait long for a train because of Daan’s fab timing skills!!! Met the loveliest people and had so much fun at the karaoke bar and chilling on the rooftop terrace in our hostel in hakone :)

This trip was even better than I imagined, thanks to an amazing tour group and a fantastic guide named Daan. There were lots of adventures that can’t be explained with just a simple review, but I loved the knowledge that our tour guide had about the history and also the dos and donts of each area. My favorite memory was a crowded sit down eating alley around Shinjuku. It was fond moment with the group while experiencing an authentic Japanese cultural moment.

Wonderful way to see and experience Japan. Our guide, George, was wonderful - helping us navigate on our own and recommending great food spots and activities to do during our freetime. Is a good singer too.

Had a great 10-day group tour in Japan with George! We saw a lot in a short time and everything was well organized. George was super helpful, answered all our questions, and gave great personal tips for our free time.
He also made sure no one got lost, which I really appreciated 😄
Only downside was that the schedule felt a bit rushed at times, so we didn’t always have as much time at each place as I would’ve liked.
Overall, a really nice trip – would definitely recommend!

George was a great tour leader for our 14 day tour across Japan. We had some wonderful experiences and he was able to provide plenty of suggestions for alternatives and optional activities to make the most of free time.

Great tour for people experiencing Japan for the first time.
Especially if your looking to see a bit more then Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka.
Highlights were the quieter areas of Takayama, Hakone and Koyasan.
100% worth doing the 14 days
Learning and experiencing the cultural activities were amazing, Kendo, Tea Ceremony, Sushi class and so many more.

Our tour guide George did great organising and overseeing 15 plus people from all over the world, was very knowledgeable about all things Japan and very stern on holding to the traditional customs which was great to see.
To top of off he is also just a very genuine guy and not half bad at Kareoke either, I was very glad he was our guide.
It was a great way to start what will be a month of travels in Japan.
Now feel more than ready for 2 weeks by myself to explore more.
