I submitted a review to Yahoo comments only to get n email from OpenWeb that it was rejected. There wasn't a out of line word in the message but did critisize the Biden administration. OpenWeb is an Israeli organization that has no right violating the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution. Too many organizations or taking way the freedom of the citizens of this nation including our political parties. This has to stop.

This company says that its mission is to maintain web conversations civil. To do that, they reject comments that according to them violate "community guidelines" and this policy is applied "equally" to all comments, only that some comments are more equal than others.
I have been offended by some ultra-conservative commenter and responded in kind, my response has been rejected and the cause for my comment has remained there.
Today, I felt that an opinion article written by Dr. Atlas was offensive to others including the government and the readers that didn't share his opinions and responded in kind. My comment was rejected. OpenWeb is nothing but a tool of the ultra-right to cancel the ones that do not share their antiscientific fiew of the world.

All of a sudden I can't comment on the Fox News app. Just to give them the benefit of the doubt I Uninstaller and reinstalled, and NOPE. I've been banned. I can't even try a other email. They have my phones mac address and have eliminated my ability to comment. This is not American. This is a violation of our sacred 1st amendment. More evidence that conservatives are being censored worldwide. These liberals are playing with fire.

It's an israel owned company who censors Americans for literally anything. Stating verified facts while being respectful is a way to have your comment removed.
But again, being an Israeli company, it's what's expected.

I purchased their "fastest" LTE deal for R800 but for an ENTIRE month my internet speeds was less than 1MBPS. I reached out to their support and they advised to switch internet providers because they couldn't provide the internet speeds I paid R800!!! for. I switched providers but they REFUSED to cancel my account for another month. So I had to pay R800 for another month for internet speeds of less than 1MBPS! COMPLETE SCAM do not buy!!!

ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE! These woke and deluded individuals are epicly failing at their campaign to shut out Conservative voices and discussions on any websites where their comment apps are used. But, it has backfired on them as all shutting out does is empower people more to fight back and bring more light and attention to the issue as, "What's going on here"? I'm an independent. I do my homework on candidates and choose who I think is the least evil and best for all of the people of this Country and its prosperity. Fairness for all has to be part of their policies and platform. I've also been under the belief that when you see something wrong, you say something, usually by first addressing the owner or originator. But, when it comes to these immature and deluded individuals at OpenWeb, they have an agenda and they don't want to be contacted or rebuked about it, or stopped from their task to destroy our Country and support this destruction. Instead, they adopt childish tactics similar to putting their fingers in their ears while yelling "La-la-la I can't hear you!". They unknowingly and unwillingly support our enemies abroad, which is where most of the left's ridiculous ideology is fed and obtained from Social Media. The left takes it and gives it its meaning before feeding it to us. We have armies of mislead people like those at OpenWeb who have become soldiers for these lies and destructive policies they have been fed. They're more interested in supporting and fighting for what they think they believe and what they have been told and brainwashed to believe. But since they don't want to validate what they hear and have been programmed to believe, they have also been taught to address mature and healthy feedback by not interacting, debating or discussing it, because there is no depth to their deluded statements or comments. Light always brings truth and sanitizes lies by bringing focus, attention and discussions on any controversial topics. But, they have their talking points and canned responses, just like Jehovah Witnesses when asked about the Bible scriptures and their failed interpretations, which they can repeat but don't really understand or can discuss any further than the canned statements they repeat. These people are no friend of the community or our Country, and are sadly being used for something they would likely be vehemently against, if they really knew the underlying purpose or outcome, which is destruction of our Country and way of life. Our young people have been brainwashed and controlled, fooled and made not to care. They thing they are right and will fight to the death to defend this, hating and attacking people and things they don't know or are different from the lies they've been told. God help us all. Fortunately, the more intelligent ones can see that we've been through 6 years of investigations and attacks on a man who wanted to help get our Country back on track. When he did, and exceeded expectations and limits he was mocked for, they only double-downed instead of praising his efforts and historic progress for our Country. These are our Domestic enemies, not the Trump supporters, and overwhelming military and other patriot support this movement has gotten. This fight starts by not frequenting or using their websites that work to destroy us! They would leave overnight if people would do this. Let's not make the statement true that the USA would fall without a shot being fired because we would willingly be participating in our own demise. I don't see a better way that this happens than what we see happening today with Social media, especially Twitter and Facebook. We are better than this, and it will take all of us listening to each other, embracing debate and scrutiny against our most valued beliefs and truths. This is the only way they can stand the test of time and to be sure you are following truth and not a Tyrant fighting for evil.

there is no way to contact the company. i use aol and have posted comments on their news articles and apparently openweb censors comments and I was blocked and deleted for NO REASON AT ALL

Shadow banned on fox news website for having an alternate viewpoint. Now the site is just people bouncing lies off each other with no moderation or opposing comments.

I don't know when OpenWeb took over monitoring comments on Fox News, one of the ONLY news sites that let you post comments but I've obviously been shadowbanned. I now receive zero thumbs up or down or responses and I used to get a lot. No explanation of what was offensive which is CRAP. Even youtube tells you what you did. I don't even know if simply creating a new account will help. I see so many spam posts, so many vile posts on both sides of the political spectrum, yet they remain. There is no excuse to have no warning, no probationary period, no just locking the account for a day or two. Even the rare instance when I use a bad word I use !@#!!. THANKS Openweb for ruining my Fox News experience of great conversation with like minds and lively, civil debates (usually) with folks who disagree with me. Totally classless. Facebook doesn't even do that for crying out loud.

Garbage. Politically-biased, heavy-handed censorship; shadow-banning; IP banning; and silent banning (posts only render to the user himself or herself, not anyone else). But spammers are allowed to run rampant.

I am less likely to patronize a news site that uses this platform because I can't trust that the comments posted represent what other users actually had to say. I actually prefer that a news site have no commenting system at all than that they use this one, which simply hides comments with which the platform's operators disagree.

And since HuffPost Canada shut down, I've been getting constant spam directed to my HuffPost username.

Openweb censors and blocks posts but doesn't tell the user their post never gets published although the user thinks it is. They don't tell you why or anything. The hypocrisy is that there is a user who keeps using different user names to spam a forum and they don;t stop that. They also don't offer any support contact. I recommend no one uses this forum.

You can't even tell just *WHY* a post is banned, most likely because you made some slightly unkind thing about one of their dearly beloved far-leftist politicians. It's an opinion, and I was even commenting about the poor quality of candidates from BOTH major parties, and had the nerve to suggest people should vote third-party.

What use is a comments section where only one small group's opinion is allowed to be spoken? These people should be shut down for their "Newspeak" misappropriation of the word "Open".

An absolutely appalling site which uses an unforgiving AI to silence the American majority and force conversations to be skewed politically. They will ban the most frivolous things and will shadow ban your IP if you point out their censorship.

Openweb offers a reduced scope for people trading ideas, it stifles free expression by utilising an AI that seems to exclude turns of phrase, words and any criticism of its own systems. It has no sense of nuance, humour or context and no right of appeal. I have seen conversations that were jovial, challenging and interesting ended for no discernible reason.

Openweb is the closest we have come to a 1984 thought police, it's not just the rejection of comments, it's the very thought that there is a database where your comments are used to profile you, sell the data, or mark you out as someone who may be difficult in the future.

I am simultaneously worried and frustrated about a system like this used in a western democracy.

Shadow or ip ban affecting all websites including RT. Company has repeatedly lied to me about it since they were spot.im and abuses the trash fake-review system here to make themselves look good. ToiletPilot is complicit.

All my posts are flagged before I post them no matter what the content is even if it is just "test" and of course none of them ever appear.

I have been basically "shadow banned" since Dec 29th and Openweb is not responding to my support inquiries. I post on Foxnews.com and since Dec 29th I have had no responses to my posts. My posts will show up in my profile but I have had no likes or responses to them for over a month now. It looks like Openweb is another of those that ban or shut people down when you have a differing opinion.

Am currently shadowbanned with no warning or explanation. They don't even do a very good job of hiding it either (total post count doesn't increase after your post, even though it appears to you that it is there). Have also verified using multiple devices.

Drop these losers, Fox News. Use someone else.
