Optimum Van Lines runs a very organized operation. My move was planned perfectly, with no delays or issues. The movers handled all my belongings with care, and the pricing remained exactly as quoted.

DO NOT use Optimum Van lines for moving(especially) state to state moving, I had a horrible experience (especially as a senior citizen) before I signed the contract Thomas Anderson was pleasant, returned your calls& very attentive to moving needs & concerns. I signed the contract paid the deposit on October 20th given a written contract agreement of which I signed advised to send pictures of all of my items that were to be used of which I did several times twice to Thomas & twice to other individuals employed with optimum price agreed contract signed. Needless to say the date to pickup delivery November 29th price exploded as well as given to another moving (Ocean moving )charge their own price that had to be paid before pickup. I had to borrow additional money to have the truck loaded due to my last day allowable to stay in my apartment. Well I proceeded to my destination of which was 600 miles by car hoping the truck would deliver upon my arrival. Truck never left pick up state I had to rent a hotel for two days in freezing rain no changeable clothes, caught the flu had to call my doctor immediately for medication. In the midst of this horror I repeatley call Thomas Anderson as well as numerous texts & emails he Never respond once sent a quick text saying "working on it'of which he wasnt. Literally did have additional money for hotel so I had to stay with my father 80 miles away from destination. Hungry cold senior citizens left to the mercy of Ocean moving again they were contracted by optimum. To shorten this review my original contract price climbed 200 percent on total cost which destroyed my savings account. Again optimum contracted with me & brokered with Ocean moving. This was one of the worst experiences of my life emotional distress as well as monetary depletion of my menial savings account as a senior citizen living on social security. Thomas Anderson hands down has been the worse person in my life to communicate with he acted like we did not exist which is to say the least senior abuse. Do not use Optimum moving company especially state to state. Ocean moving (the brokered company) was not much better. Barbie at Ocean was the only person to seem even to care. Did I say HORRIBLE? Yes I said Horrible,this journey could have been a horrific movie story maybe I'll see if it news worthy especially absolutely senior mental abuse 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢not false claims picture were sent several times optimum reviewed pictures of all items before pick up. I would NEVER review false accusations I wasn't treated fairly you have my numbers to call to discuss further

The company hires horrible packers and movers. Late, understaffed and careless. Third party brokered company that shows up are inexperienced and careless. They literally hire help off the street or even worse like the parolee that had to leave early because of his parole requirements that that they brought to my house. Sent a semi and trailer after being repeatedly told it would not fit. Demanded more money after claiming we had been underquoted by Optimum. Optimum was little to no help once they had been payed. Once they receive payment you are totally at their mercy. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Optimun Van Lines is not a moving company, they just collect fees to send you Santana Moving who are just as bad. Do not go with these people. They will hire a moving company and both will charge you a lot of money. My stuff was broken and ruined and nobody is resposnsible for it. They are a big scam. They appear to be nice until they collect your money.
