A fantastic powder coated wheel carrier, well packaged and easy to assemble. Very well made, you can tell their QA process works well and it works beautifully. The only negative (& it's a small one) is that the two short bolts supplied for the chassis mounting were not long enough. I emailed this minor problem to ORE last night and had a phone call from them this morning. They say the carrier is designed to fit a standard Landrover chassis and mine is a galvanised Richards chassis, which has slightly different dimensions on the rear cross member. I was amazed by the customer call from ORE and their chat about the fitment. You certainly get great customer support form ORE, which should be an example to many other manufacturers!
Overall, a great British product and great British support! 10/10

I've bought a stainless steal front bumper at the lro show can't wait for it to arrive, the quality of workmanship is second to none and so is the service it was expensive but the quality is there and it shows, British made and it shows, looking forward to my next purchase. thanks ore team keep up the great work you do

I bought the ORE wheel carrier a couple of months ago now, the quality us second to none based on what I have seen elsewhere. The simple fitment( you just need a buddy) with quality fixings make it a joy to fit. The wheel is fitted sturdily and the compete reduction of the weight on the rear door makes for a pleasurable experience when closing the door. A great product that I would recommend to anyone seeking a solution to reduce the loading on the back door. Someight say pricey, I would say quality is worth the extra money.

I’ve had my wheel carrier for eighteen months and it’s built like the proverbial brick outhouse!

More interesting is there’s no rust whatsoever and it’s been biffed a few times, obviously my wife was driving and not myself.

Best of all, it’s British and proves we are good and manufacturing high quality items and can compete with the best.

Yes, I am a bit of a fanboy but I like supporting decent companies who manufacture decent products.

Was inspired to buy the ORE steering guard and wheel carrier for my Defender 90 by their Instagram ambassadors and the bullet proof technical specs. They are simply rock solid. I’ve used (and to be fair abused them) for over a year and they’re still like the day got bolted on the truck. Had to wait a short while on the waiting list to get the wheel carrier but well worth the wait. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend either product. Easy to fit, excellent (beyond belief) customer service and lives up to the hype.

I have had experience of Oak Ridge Engineering for four years since their founder after exhaustive research and development launched the famous Land Rover Defender rear wheel carrier. I purchased one immediately and was not disappointed. It has remained brand new looking all this time.
Chris, director and owner of ORE, was ready on the phone to help with installation. He remains reachable despite his company's increasing success and hectic production on site.
I would not hesitate in my continued recommendation. Post and packing is beautifully presented and speedy. I'm excited by the range of new products and this month bought work flood lights for the rear of my Defender. ORE host the brilliant sale of the German LPRTZ led light systems.

Where do I begin with the Ore bunch. I met them at the LRO show and they were a lovely bunch, helped me get what I wanted and what I needed, which was a spare wheel carrier, laser light bar and seat box protectors and the hats and T-shirt’s let’s not forget. Very good customer service and workmanship. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Purchased ore 4x4 wheel carrier about a year ago. Price and shipping to USA was reasonable for quality. Fitting instructions where superb! It’s a well made piece and I recommend it constantly. My only issue is the powder coating was a bit thin or something and has flaked peeled on some of the corners. Not something a bit of touch up paint can’t cover but why it didn’t get 5 stars

*Edit-After posting ORE reached out to me directly and we worked out a call (not easy with the time difference) but that's how much ORE and Chris M. cared. Honestly it was on me not taking advantage of the warranty to get my issues addressed, I'm used to most UK warranties not working for stuff shipped to US thats not the case with ORE. ORE Customer service is head and shoulders above anyone else. Would not hesitate to buy again especially being from US. I didn't get anything for writing this fyi but wanted to share just how much ORE cares is obvious to me now and wanted to share that with others.

I bought a tire carrier and exceedingly please the quality feel and look of the product and it blended with the Land Rover. In addition, it was so easy to install and my wife helped. It did not involved drilling extra holes. The instructions were clear. I have had wheel carrier for about 8 months and no issues. Thank you ORE.

Purchased a steering guard from ORE in October 2020 for my defender. Easy to follow instructions for fitting. Solid piece of protection that also looks great. Has stood up extremely well. 12 months on and there are no chips to the paint.

Bought an ORE wheel Carrier for my Defender 90 and it’s everything they described. Easy to fit even though I have a NAS rear step and it’s taken the strain off my rear door hinges. No drilling , no welding and no cutting installation was simples. You will need a grease gun to grease up the bearing but that’s also straightforward. Great British product made from premium materials and carefully engineered- don’t even consider the inferior copies you see they won’t last and won’t be like the ORE product. It is expensive but you really do get what you pay for. Haven’t been brave enough to stand on the wheel on the carrier, yet.

Went to the ore stand at the lr show and bought a pair of lightpartz DL009C lights for my 90 Defender after talking to the very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I am over the moon with them and couldn't be more grateful thanx

I bought a Defender steering guard which was delivered really quickly. It was easy to fit, looks great, paint quality is top notch and I'm pleased I've protected my steering.

I recently attend the landrover show at Peterborough and met the team at ORE who are definitely passionate about all of there products , they didn’t pressure me to buy anything but were very helpful and knowledgeable about all of there products. I bought 2 7” TRX 2.0 off road lights which are absolutely awesome!! Very bright, very happy customer!!

I recently purchased an ORE wheel carrier based on reviews and recommendations. Yes it’s expensive when compared to similar products but the reviews and YouTube reviews are superb.

I fitted the wheel carrier to my Defender and at one point contacted ORE for advice via email as a component didn’t appear to match the comprehensive fitting instructions. As I discovered there had been a minor modification to the product but within a short time I had an email and also spoke to Chris who could not have been more helpful.

Is this product worth the extra money compared to other products? Absolutely. It is engineered to a fantastic standard and I absolutely love it for its quality, British build and ruggedness.

Recommended would be an understatement - it’s absolutely OREsome!

I have the LED headlights and steering guard, and they are second to none. Payment is quick and easy with Apple pay, and delivery is just as quick.

Bought a wheel carrier, so 5 stars as the wheel hasn't fallen off! Seriously though, it was so easy to fit, I watched the YouTube reviews and videos and it does what it says on the tin basically. It doesn't rattle, it fits the pre existing holes so there was no messing about cutting or drilling new holes and it looks bloody good!

My experience with ORE has been nothing short of exceptional, I purchased one of their now famous wheel carriers over 18 months ago, there’s a lot of companies making sub standard bits to bolt onto Land Rovers, ORE are not one of them, superb products and equally superb customer service, and nice people too!
