Product never got delivered

When I ordered from Orico a year ago, the company wrote me that they have stock issues and that I'm supposed to wait two weeks. This timeframe kept expanding and the company kept stalling:

Asking me whether my address is still correct, saying they are shipping it now but never supplying a tracking number, etc.

Even when I asked for a refund, they kept stalling.

Eventually, I tried to file a chargeback claim via PayPal. But unfortunately, the buyers protection period had expired already.

I have not received my order to this day, and customer support stopped replying to me now also.

TL;DR: Do not let this company stall your delivery whatsoever. Immediately ask for a refund. Terrible customer support. I would not trust them whatsoever.

Terrible product

Terrible product. I bought 5-bay NAS from official store. Unfortunately, I kept it in the box till I move to my new house and installed it after some time Worked for one or two months then crashed. I tried to contact support and keep sending them screenshots for weeks with no result. Then they stopped responding to my mails. Typical Chinese product with zero support. Not recommended at all for home or personal or business use at all. I had to take out the HD and install it by USB to my PC to get the data back.

Support is really bad

I bought this dock + SSD directly from ORICO (see my order screenshot). The SSD itself works perfectly at full speed — no complaints. But the dock/case has a clear defect: the cooling fan is extremely loud, almost as noisy as my DJI Power 1000 with huge batteries and fans inside. Totally unacceptable for a small enclosure.

I contacted ORICO support many times, but instead of solving the problem they kept passing me from one person to another and finally just stopped replying. They refused to replace or refund the defective product.

So yes — SSD is great, but the enclosure is garbage. And the customer service is even worse. Buy with caution.

DEFECTIVE DEVICES!!

DEFECTIVE DEVICES!!! I bought an SSD from them. I did not open it for months because it was just supposed to be a backup and I relied a lot on their 5 year warranty guarantee. When I first used it, it had an EXTREMELY SLOW speed. I tested its write/read speed using write/read testing softwares, and it only yielded about 1% of the 500Mb/s read/write speed they claim on their product web page! Contacted their customer service support and they said that the speed would really lower when I have files in it which is false. Well, they are now sending a replacement after a very long and time-consuming tests I did with their customer service. I will update this review if the replacement is either a good quality replacement or still faulty.

ORICO 'NAS' CD2510…

I recently purchased a 'NAS' CD2510 single drive box. The idea was good BUT IT is NOT a NAS Server. It is a network attached storage subsystem that relies on each user running an app. The system is very inconsistent, in my opinion - i.e. sometimes appears to work at other times not. Unable to delete large numbers of files in bulk. Sometimes available (via the network) sometimes not. For my requirement USELESS.
ORICO support email address is UNDELIVERED. They will provide a REFUND but only if I return it at my expense to GERMANY - sounds like they don't want or expect returns. Awful experience - to date

Latest....Not ORICO fault but as of today 1st July no sign of return mailed (via Royal Mail) on 9th June. this was not a pleasant experience

As of today 17th July. Goods returned from Germany (paid for by me) with what appears to be an invalid or non-deliverable address (provided by Orico)

Just received REFUND from Orico - weird - with me retaining the goods. Not sure I'll have any use use for this item.

Rubbish Company

Rubbish Company , Bought Item doesnt match description. Asking a refund never came or any Communiction. USELESS COMPANY . WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY.

DONT BUY FROM THEM . PAY EXTRA AND BUY FROM AMAZON.

TOTAL CRAP

Bought MiniMate for my Mac Mini 4. It is specifically designed for a Mac Mini but is not recognised. Tried it on my Mac Book Pro too and no joy. No response to email or support enquiry. Do not buy from this company!
