Specifically, the trainer on the day, Nader, was rude and unhelpful.
Often unnecessarily knit picked on the tinniest of details like copying down dot points word for word or not in full sentences.
Intentionally gave a hard time to people and had a weird power trip.

My son (16yrs old) didn't complete the documentation correctly prior to the course. The trainer advised him to complete it and reschedule. Upon trying to reschedule they asked us to pay for the course again!! This is not rescheduling?? They then said they would have to investigate as the trainer wouldn't have known that we had booked a 'discounted rate' - My son doesn't know what rate was booked either. Anyhow no rescheduling, no refunding JUST BS!!!

Scammers. Turned up online 15 mins prior to course start time. Waited 90 mins, no one joined. Called office told to wait another 30 mins. Did that no one joined me. Was then told I couldn’t get a refund and would need to rebook and repay for another course. Absolute scam

NEVER GET ANYSORT OF TRAINING DONE AT THIS GLORIFIED SCAM HOLE. TELL ME HOW ARE YOU GOING TO SEND ME TO THE WRONG PLACE RESCHEDULE ME 2 DAYS LATER THEN CANCEL AGAIN THE NIGHT PRIOR TO TELL YOU TO WAIT ANOTHER 4 DAYS. I WAS SUPPOSED TO START MY NEW JOB 3 DAYS AGO DELAYING MY LIFE AND ABILITY TO FEED MY FAMILY FOR WHAT? AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE YOU WANT TO TALK TO SOMEONE? GOODLUCK BUDDY. I am appalled by the unprofessionalism of Origin Institute. They emailed me the evening before my morning class to inform me it was canceled, and it was then rescheduled to a location that is completely out of reach for me.

Extremely disappointed with this business. The customer service was terrible from start to finish. Communication was poor, concerns were ignored, and there was little effort made to resolve the issue professionally.
The most frustrating part was their refusal to provide a fair refund. Despite the circumstances, they withheld all of my refund money without reasonable explanation. It felt like they were more interested in keeping my money than treating customers fairly.
I would not recommend this business to anyone. Poor customer service, lack of accountability, and an unfair refund process made for a very negative experience. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere.

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, USE THIS Organisation TO DO YOUR UNDER 11M Boom lift, scissor lift, or vertical lift. THEY ARE NOT affiliated with EWPA, and you will not receive a yellow card. This is the most illegitimate course available. I needed a yellow card that mentioned scissor lift SL).The fact that this organisation does not HONESTLY tell their paying customers, that origin institute is not a EWPA affiliated organisations and that customers will not receive a yellow card is criminal. I had already had a HWRL High Risk WP Licence. I needed a scissor lift (SL) yellow card qualifications. Your under 11m course is an absolute total waste of time and money. I am totally disgusted with this false narrative that origin institute puts out. You should be advertising on your website that customers will not receive a yellow card. I am on a Tier 1 Project the M80 and your ticket is absolutely irrelevant and useless to use. Poor poor delivery. Origin Institute should be absolutely ashamed of this money grabbing sham. And EWPA and worksafe should exploit companies like this who falsely do scissor and vertical lift licences. SHAME SHAME SHAME. I should of got my money returned and refunded.

I booked a White Card course, but I wasn't able to take the preparatory online lessons because the platform wasn't working. The next day, when I showed up to class, the instructor turned me away because I hadn't completed the online lessons. He told me I had to reschedule the course, but when I tried, the staff told me I'd have to pay for everything again. Other companies are more flexible and don't require any preparatory online courses. I strongly advise against booking with Origin Institute.

I had a great experience completing the Work Safely in the Construction Industry course at Origin Institute. The trainer was very patient and explained everything clearly, making it easy to understand even for beginners. The materials were well-prepared, and the practical parts helped me gain confidence in applying safety rules at work. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get their White Card in Australia.

I had a really disappointing experience with this business over a refund dispute. What should have been a straightforward process turned into a frustrating back-and-forth with little to no accountability.
After being clearly eligible for a refund, I was met with delays, vague responses, and what felt like deliberate stalling. Communication was poor—emails either went unanswered or came back with generic replies that didn’t address the issue.
It’s incredibly frustrating when a company is quick to take your money but drags its feet when it comes to doing the right thing. Customer service should be about resolving problems, not avoiding them.
I wouldn’t recommend this business based on my experience. If something goes wrong, don’t expect it to be handled fairly or efficiently.

Teacher was quick did not explain much just rush. Did not tell what many danger is or what meanings of signs or who different people's are in construct business. Teaching school was pub with strong beer smell bad seats made back and buttocks sore.

I had trouble signing into enrolment had to change password several times still could not log in. went to class explained situation to instructor. he told me not to worry complete course and try later. During the course I received nasty emails saying if i did not complete enrolment I would have to leave the class. Instructor said just ignore them. I replied to origin they were un helpful and very blunt and nasty replies. I completed white card course and passed. was able to access laptop and finally complete enrolment. still have not received confirmation email and pdf certificate. I will never do training course with origin again or recommend any one to. The instructor though was very good. Admin staff not good or helpful

Doing a course on a Friday afternoon would not be everyone's first choice, however Nicholas made it such a great, enjoyable time which made it effective when learning the class materials.

I would highly recommend Origin. A great experience right from the beginning. Clear communication and great facility (Clyde).
