Beef Chief began with a simple problem: the jerky available in Australia wasn’t good enough. It was soft, sweet, thin, overpriced and nothing like the tough, chewy, protein-rich snack I wanted while serving as a rifleman in the Australian Army. So I started making my own. Today, Beef Chief has grown from a small homemade idea into one of Australia’s most awarded dried meat brands, with a loyal customer base across the country. We use premium Australian beef and make snacks that are packed with protein, full of flavour and built to be taken anywhere — work, the gym, fishing trips, camping, long drives, the job site or out bush. Our range includes classic beef jerky, traditional-style biltong, fatty biltong and droewors, with flavours ranging from easy everyday favourites to bold chilli options.
