I have the More 1 Minirite hearing…

I have the More 1 Minirite hearing aids.

I have been wearing them for 4 years now and they have made an amazing difference in the level of Tinnitus that I had been experiencing.

I sent them for servicing and was amazed that Oticon had completed the service and returned them within 48 hours.

App is useless

Oticon app is about the most u functional app I have ever experienced. It's sole purpose is to connect to Bluetooth to allow modifications to hearing aids and it cannot even do that reliably. At least one hearing aid always just disconnects from the app (not from Bluetooth) preventing user adjustments to hearing aid. Your choices are to turn off hearing aids allowing the hearing aids to connect temporarily before it disconnects again or just don't even bother trying to use the app. A high schooler could create a better more reliable app.

The hearing Aida I bought have been a complete waste of money. I get continual crackling and buzzing. The app is úseles and connectivity very por. I just wish I had done more Research. I have learnt an expensive lesson

New Oticon App - Very Unsatisfactory

I have already complained to Oticon about the connection issues with their new app.
After my previous complaint, they made some suggestions which have not worked
The app constantly looses connectivity when I pair to my phone.
As I result I do not bother using the hearing aids. In my opinion they were a complete waste of money.

Oticon Mini Rite - dont believe everything you read

Oticon intent mini rite 1. Be warned! These hearing aids cost an absolute fortune for what you get. Some places charging £6000, some £4000. Do you research and shop around. I paid the lower price after doing some price comparison and haggling. I was told these were the best in the business. 4 months in, the right one is away to the techs as its not working/turning on. Took it to point of purchase and they couldn’t fix it either. Contacted oticon and i got an email reply stating “Oticon hearing aids are among the best available ,but like any advanced device, faults can occasionally happen”. Occasionally happen? After reading on here, it seems a lot. You don’t expect something costing £4000+ to break so early on. Whats the reliability going forward? There isnt any! I was sold a lie and fully regret spending this amount of cash on phoney hearing aids.

The app is terrible

The app is terrible. I'm always having to restart it. The functionality is poor as are the hearing aids themselves. I'm changing to a different make if hearing aid asap.

Elendig service

Elendig service, pakke med min fars høreapparat lå 14dager på post før de ble hentet. Purret etter nye 14dager, var ikke registrert inn. Telefon kontakt, men lite fornuftig svar å få.

Not connecting

The main thing for me is privacy,but my Oticon Xceed 1 SP will not connect to my Samsung A 32 5 g bluetooth.So both sides of a conversation can be heard whilst on public transport.This was not the case with my previous PHONAX one,which were also Nhs.

Having paid a fortune for my Oticon…

Having paid a fortune for my Oticon MiniRite only 90 days ago it has been the worst expencive item I have ever purchased. In a meeting or crowded room its impossible to make out what is being said. I charge them, then after 4-5 hours they shut down then restart, connection to the app happens then disconnects. I have complained had then adjusted with no change and asked for a refund, but after 60 days this is impossible. So I have taken legal advice and will ask Hidden hearing via a lawyer for a refund. My advice don’t purchase Oticon.

Oticon does not support customers

Giving the fact that Oticon is a global company, I give one star to Oticon because:
I purchased the new Intent1 from another country and when I come back to UK and asked Oticon for initial fitting in UK, they respond was: you need to find audiologist in UK. Meaning I need to pay £600 for the initial fitting of the most expensive and high end hearing aid I have already paid £3000.

Just be mindful that Oticon does not support your hearing aid globally.

Oticon app veldig ustabil

Har brukt Oticon høre apparater i 25 år. Denne streaming opplevelse kunne jeg vært uten, Oticon app er veldig ustabile, koblet opp med TVen så hopper det fra øre til øre og tilbake igjen. Ikkje ofte er kan høre TVen med begge ørene. Etterpå når jeg er ferdig med TVen så låser appen seg ofte. Einaste løysinga er å fjerne appen så laste ned appen på nytt. Denne gangen hadde ønsket jeg hadde prøvd annen firma.

Awful

I'm an experienced hearing aid user of 20 years, for the last 5 years the NHS has been providing oticon hearing aids and it has been a nightmare.
I've spent longer with at least one of the oticon devices out of commission than I've had them both working, they constantly just stop working, it's maddening, I need my hearing aids! I can't hear without them! This company is actively harmful to my life, I wish they didn't exist.

Why have U changed to a different app when your previous one worked a dream can yous not copy the programming here not too costly to do it either. Surely there's somewhere ppl can report you to to force yourselves to make changes. Something ill be looking into cos this is not fair to your consumers. Bluetooth has to go off nearly every hour and same when trying to connect have to turn off the Bluetooth and on again.

Not fit for purpose.

I paid over £4000 for Oticon hearing aids. They are extremely unreliable and I have given up wearing them. Should have gone to Specsavers!
