The best holiday ever

My trip to South Africa with Our Small Planet was genuinely the best holiday I have ever had. It was a true adventure: exhilarating, action-packed and enormous fun, with breathtaking scenery and extraordinary wildlife.

The game drives were a particular highlight. Every drive brought a sense of anticipation and something different, from elephants, hippos, buffalo and crocodiles to antelope, incredible birdlife and even dung beetles. I learnt so much along the way and also loved the boat trips and the opportunity to experience such varied landscapes.

What made the holiday particularly special was that it felt like a real adventure rather than a standard safari. I stayed in some wonderfully characterful places, met some fantastic people and came home with great friendships as well as unforgettable memories.

The team at Our Small Planet were brilliant throughout and created a trip that was varied, exciting and beautifully put together. It gave me so much more than simply seeing the wildlife and felt special from beginning to end.

An absolutely unforgettable experience and a trip I will be talking about for years to come.

The most incredible trip with such an amazing group of people and guides. There's so much about my experience that i'll never forget; arriving to my accommodation with a Zebra peeking through the trees to say hello, watching a family of elephants cross our path at sunrise, racing through the bush to witness a rhino being de-horned by an amazing team who work tirelessly to protect them and meeting local schoolchildren on Heritage Day and learning more about the Zulu culture. Every day was a completely different adventure and none of it felt like a standard tour or safari. Highly recommend Our Small Planet and their team - they go the extra mile to give you a full immersion into this extraordinary land and culture.
