Outboards Shop USA Avis 19

The website outboardshopusa[dot]com lists an address in Columbus, Ohio. I visited that address today (March 10, 2026) and they in fact are not there. The company does not have a physical presence at the address they have listed on their website. They also have not responded to my WhatsApp text messages (a customer contact feature on their website) and appear to be an illegitimate company. Do not spend your money here. It is allegedly a scam in my opinion.

A different company is at the address now and those people are lovely. When I entered, they told me that others have driven here to buy boat parts only to find the company does not exist.

Buyer beware.

I ordered a Suzuki lower unit and paid by bank transfer. Everything went smoothly and delivery was on time. Customer service was responsive and friendly.

Hello, I have been working with this company and have had no luck determining if they are legit, I will say that they have sent me a link through paypal to review the invoice and pay, but when i clicked on it it asked me to login to paypal, I did and immediately got a notice they had run the invoice for payment. Which luckily was denied due to security issues. The holder of the Paypal account is located in Nairobi, Kenyan. Buyer be ware! These guys might be legit, but there are several other suspicious reasons. Paypal was notified. Not accusing but very suspicious this might be a scam. Hope this helps.

Very smooth transaction. New Yamaha outboard came complete with lower unit and arrived on time with no extra shipping fees.

In my investigating this website before deciding to purchase I found this website does not pass the sniff test.

The address given links to a vacant industrial office space currently for lease. The company website states it is in Blacklick, OH, a suburb of Columbus yet the phone number given is registered as a landline and is from the NE part of the state, minimum four hours drive time away with a different area code than what serves Columbus.

Take this info as you see fit. Buyer beware.

We recently ordered a Yamaha 115HP outboard motor and a lower unit from Outboard Shop USA. The lower unite came with a warranty, which gave us peace of mind. One of the best parts was the 20% discount we received for paying with cryptocurrency, making the deal even better.

The transaction was smooth, communication was clear throughout, and our items were delivered safely to our address. Everything arrived as described. We're definitely satisfied with the service and will be ordering again.

as „Outboardshopusa“ !
Even their „businessmodel“ seems to be unchanged :
Get a customer - to pay for an outboard motor -,
then - direct him to a „logistics“impersonator -
who - on his website
will fabricate „tracking-numbers“ and bombard him with requests for additional fees
(like : VIP-delivery fees, Customs-stamps,etc)
BUT : No outboard will ever be shipped or received !
Just go to the „location“ or just -Google-maps-
yourself and see !

After 2 months of searching
They had the outboard I needed. When ( no one ) else did !!!
Yamaha only dealer makes the difference

I have been looking for a marina for a while to service my boat and install a trolling motor. A friend of mine suggested Outboardshopusa. Talked to them who was very helpful and gave me the price and to do my 20 hour service on my Yamaha engine. Would definitely recommend them to anyone. And the price was very reasonable.

Came to Outboard shop looking for a new Yamaha and everyone there was great found the motor I needed got it installed very quickly and got me back and ready to get on the water great people there!!

I recently re powdered my boat with a new Yamaha. They are outstanding with their can do personality and great customer experience. I want to say thank you to Outboard shop and the new motor is awesome.
