Paintremoving Avis 

Three days ago I wrote them to say how unhappy I was with the outcome of my bedroom furniture being badly done, and I've not heard back from them.
The wood looks and feels like someone forgot to sand the pieces: they are rough to the touch and not at all what I would expect from professionals. It's more like what a DIYer would produce.
I feel the cost was completely unjustified.
I'm now going to have to redo it myself (which I was trying to avoid by treating myself to this service). NO STARS (although they did have a reasonable pickup and drop off fee).

Service was excellent from start to finish. Always prompt replies to emails and great information given. The company was excellent and with communication. Doors were picked up and delivered on time as promised. I got three doors restored - paint removed, cleaned and sanded - I wasn't sure what the end result would be as they were covered in thick layers of paint but so glad I went ahead - the end product is absolutely beautiful! Many thanks to Max, Victor and the team for doing such a great job and making it feel so easy!

Zero stars. Do not use this company. Take no responsibility when mistakes are made. Ask for payment before delivery, which leaves you with zero recourse.

It will be my absolute pleasure to tell everyone at every opportunity how terrible this business is…starting here.

Having searched for paint stripping services in Newcastle, I sent an email to them asking for a quote for this to be done in Newcastle.

I received an email to ask me what my postcode is, which I provided

I then received a response saying "we don't service your area".

This means that they do not do what they say they do.

Door ruined and would not accept any responsibility. AVOID.

Terrible service 4bedposts returned in a terrible state,very shoddy work, took more money to get right, DO NOT USE THEM EVER, they cannot even apologise. This happened October 24, be aware never use them.

I wish I could give NO STARS!!! really horrendous experience. Took my furniture to be stripped, returned half (late) then asked for payment ! Would not deliver rest until after a lengthy, heated argument with the delivery guy storming off because I hadn't paid before I received all of my stuff! Item not stripped/ cleaned thoroughly, only fit to be repainted which wasn't our intention. They promised '100% clean condition', they lied, they should have offered at least a part refund if they had any integrity. The wood was damaged in places from careless handling. I was unable to raise this due to their aggressive, antagonistic attitude. Worst company I've ever dealt with.

Scammers. Hard to get hold of- mobile number - wouldn’t tell me where they were based. Said they had people “everywhere”.

My dining table (solid oak, large with a round base and tricky edges) and walnut coffee table were both collected promptly on the date agreed. Once they had the tables I had no updates in the first week so i asked for some photos and had a slightly upsetting / worrying exchange with the person who responds to messages so thought in that moment that I’d never see my tables again esp after I had seen the reviews on here. I sent a message complaining and asked them to return both items without stripping them. At this point I received a call from the owner of the business - he was a lovely gentleman who talked me through their process and reassured me that the tables were in good hands. A week later we had photos of both tables after they had been stripped and an interaction about whether or not they should oil them. We decided we would like to stain and finish them ourselves so we agreed on a delivery date. They arrived today, within the confirmed time slot and the driver was lovely and helpful in getting both items back into the house. The amount of care they have taken to strip and smooth the tables is incredible, I’m so so pleased with them. I really do think there is something of a language barrier but Blagoj and his team have proven to be skilled and trustworthy who did their best to deliver an excellent and very well priced service. Thank you all.

Even 1 star is too much.STAY AWAY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Very polite and helpful at start. Took away the doors and then we wished we never contacted these rude scammers. We waited we called and they say they will call back but never do. I was made to feel ashamed for calling three weeks into the job when it was not even meant to take two in rare occasions. On the third week they said will deliver them next week so in four weeks they arrived. Soaking wet, So much paint on them. The whole frame misshaped parts of the door swollen. Out of the four doors only one was almost ok but even that one had lots of paint left. My wife paid them cash as she was meant to feel intimidated and the crazy man as she described it was very relaxed telling her we need to replace the panels. I called again asking for my money back and damages and they blocked my number. I had to buy new doors and carpenter and so am out of pocket nearly one thousand pounds. Makes me so angry, it has been over five months now and I get angry every time I remember. I wish I reported them earlier.

Very shoddy and disappointing. The cabinet I had stripped has come back with a shelf support, a metal keyhole and key missing. The finish is very uneven, with some of the old colour still remaining in patches. I would not ever use this company again
