It's pay parking with an app. The experience is exactly what you would expect and there's no other choice. I'm not sure why they keep hassling me to write a review but they do so here it is.

Took a good 15 minutes to pay
Took a good 15 minutes to pay. Would much rather pay at a machine that gives a receipt. Not a fan!

I gave 4 stars because the signage was contradictory. It stated both public parking and private, with unauthorized vehicles subject to towing. A Dallas police officer encouraged me to go ahead and park. He too found the signage confusing.

visiting Dallas
There was a big lot downtown Dallas but only 1 out of 4 payment stations was working.
A second lot we went to was separated and it was not clear if the payment station would cover that lot to avoid tow.
