The Pathos team felt more like strategic partners than service providers. They didn’t just publish something — they helped us figure out how to position our story. The placement brought us real visibility with the right audience.

What stood out to me was how much they listened. They understood our goals, our tone, even our personality as a company - and that came through in the final article. It didn't feel cookie-cutter at all.

payonresultspr.com (Pathos Communications) is a SCAM. They had two meetings with me, presented a crappy write up that didn't even cover what I wanted my messaging to be, and are now threatening me with a lawsuit to pay. THEY ARE PAY NOT ON RESULTS. THEY ARE RUNNING A SCAM.

I got a deal for 3 articles.
There was one article written. The ROI followup was not as expected. A lot of AI generated posts that would have hurt my business. The did not spend time on this as promised.

I first emailed them with a complaint.
The we had a long call. In which they came up with another deal and extra articles. I told them this is not working and the did not believe promises that were made with regards to the ROI. So I did not want any more of the work done.

We decided to leave it at this first article and as I had paid the balance for that article already things were settled.

After 3 months I get someone from ALTUS urging me to pay the full sum, stating the work has been done on all articles and I need to pay by contract.

There had been NO word or followup from Pathos for months since our verbal agreement.
There is only this first article.

I'm quite sure the silence for months is enough proof that there was an agreement to break things off.

But this is a bit of a sour taste.
And to be honest .. its just a bad way of doing business if you are not able to communicate clearly and honestly.

Stay away from Pathos Communications

My experience with Pathos Communications was extremely negative. They presented a contract as if it were just a quote and promised that payment would only be required once results were delivered. In reality, they produced poor-quality, irrelevant content and then tried to charge me anyway.

When I refused to accept subpar work, they became aggressive — calling constantly, applying pressure to pay, and eventually even involving a debt collector with no clear justification.

Their practices are misleading and exploitative. They overpromise, underdeliver, and then try to force clients to pay for services that were never provided.

I cannot recommend this company to anyone. If you value transparency, professionalism, and respect, avoid Pathos Communications.

Regularly contacted by this firm via "cold outreach" texts to my private mobile number. The sales associate says they received it via referral from a "friend" of mine, but will not disclose which friend. Won't provide their business license number or other information they are legally required to disclose upon request from the public, and most positive reviews posted to other sites that I have followed up on have turned out to be bot-generated. I would not recommend working with this company.

Their sales person offered 7 placements on websites with few millions of readers combined. So I thought that this was an amazing offer.
As I told them I don't have the budget they offered 3 stages of payments. I fell into this hoping the PR will bring results so I will get some budget to pay the other installments. So they were aware I can't afford it yet still pushed to take my money I didn't have.

After I signed up they said now that 3 outlets are interested.
At the end they got my PR published on Entrepreneur UK which has nearly no traffic.
Mind this is not Entrepreneur.com
My website got not a ONE click.
As you can see this is not legitimate operation they run here.
I requested money back as they didn't provide the service promised but they can't care less.
As you can see they do not bother addressing 1 star reviews. The only thing they do they flag all 1 star reviews instead of making their own clients happy.
I never seen legitimate business doing it.

They own around 100 different domains with similar names so this seem not to be reliable business.
Imagine Apple being so bad that they have to change the business name every year!!!
I don't believe any of their good reviews are legit.
Most likely incentivised or purchased from Fiverr as I can't believe anybody got good results.

Right at the start, the salesperson wanted me to go through 20 supposed testimonials — it felt like a scripted pitch. The salesperson was irritated when I wanted to skip them — apparently they think wasting a potential customer’s time makes a good impression. Then came the actual offer: two articles in irrelevant publications for €5,000, presented as “leverage” for future opportunities. When I expressed my lack of interest, he became visibly irritated and ended the call with sarcasm. Not a professional experience — definitely no thanks.

Minimal article in a unknown publication is not what I would consider results yet payments are still being taken with no further effort to assist the public relations of my company. Only now recognizing that getting a refund or greater "results" will be a difficult process.

This company sends uninvited spam emails, and does not respond when I ask where they bought my data from.

Avoid if and when possible. Most likely scam. They booked a sales call where they where supposed to present their service offering, pricing and references but it turned out to be a meeting that had recording turned on, AI collecting all the data and their representative was insisting to start telling in detail about our business, challenges, etc. and was not willing to open anything related to their operations. They ended the call quickly when we did not disclose details to them to record.

I have been working with Pathos for the last year. They delivered on what they said they would. We were published in Business Insider, Microsoft News, and USA Today. Excellent articles and now we use those articles as Subject Matter Experts within our web page, social media blitz', and social media campaigns for our Franchise Business. I would definetly recommend Pathos for your business growth and business awareness for future clients.

They were great listening and articulating our story in well known medias. Highly recommended.

Pathos has a process that is designed to help the end-user to increase his/her ROI -- period. They will work with you to get the desired result. Omar, in particular, was very adept at guiding me, post publication, on next steps -- and he was gracious enough to offer additional help, for free, that I hope, believe, and trust, will come soon! The company is the REAL DEAL....

The whole team was wonderful to work with. The focus was on our interests and goals. Real value was provided not only in getting our name out but also how we can continue to leverage the publicity gained, building ongoing credibility and awareness.

If there is anything that this company is doing well, it is that they make that high price point worth it. Following the release of the article and paying the invoice, they reached out directly to work with me on how to maximize the article for the positive, and how to use it to attract larger guests to the podcast I run.

I used the article in pitches for 2 months and the two responses I got were "yes they are in" or "let me check in on availability." After those 2 months, I am the one getting pitched those guests.

And then they make sure you're sticking with it. They give you all the tools to succeed with the PR they provide, and you just need to execute. Absolute win, absolutely will be using them again.

Many years ago- pre-Internet- I did my own PR quite successfully, but things have changed dramatically in the digital era and I was at a loss on how to promote myself as an author of an Amazon #1 New Release non-fiction book ("Thank You. From my first meeting with the copywriter they assigned to me, I knew I was working with highly experienced professionals. She took the many moving parts and complexities of my story and in one meeting, perfectly crafted the best article I could possibly hope for- and I am a professional writer, and she outdid me. I then got my first first placement, a full feature article that I am already leveraging in countless ways. THere has been personal follow-up from the Company's founder, clearly a sharp, caring and deeply committed professional who should be proud of how he has re-written the rules of the PR game, and brought a level of integrity and honesty to an industry that is plagued by "overpromising and underdelivering" and "overcharging and not even delivering." Pay on results. You can't beat that, other than knowing you've got a team of some of the brightest, most committed and inspired professionals working for you on that basis.

I began working with Pathos about 6 weeks ago and was skeptical about what to expect. I am happily surprised that already I have two solid publications out there that I love and approve of. As any relationship, we are still building our working collaboration and trust. I found Omar and his team to be thoughtful and innovative. We are thinking through the strategy of how to maximize the impact of these publications. I am now in the space of let's wait and see what comes of our efforts!
