Seamless Experience

I didn't know it was possible to pay my rent via card but it's been game changing for me! It took like 5 minutes to set up my account and now i earn thousands of avios every month. Love it!

Rewarded for paying my rent

Love this service, I've literally earnt so much extra Avios in the last few months. So nice to get rewarded for paying rent. Really quick and easy to set up, and their customer service is great if you want to double check anything.

Unclear workflow and unreliable

I registered everything in advance and set-up for payments weeks before my rent was due.
On the day of payment, instead of making payment, Payr asked for further verification, which could have been done earlier. So my rent was delayed. No disclosure that payment is not automatic (you have to log-in and actively pay each month) and that there is a 1-2% fee, adding up to a few £100 / year.

Knowing all this up-front would have saved me the time of cancelling all my direct debits and setting up new payments etc.

Thank you for your feedback. I’d like to address the concerns raised in your review.

First, as a regulated payments provider, we are required to complete identity verification (KYC) before processing a first payment. This is a standard step across financial services and typically takes under a minute to complete.

Regarding the fees, the 1.99% fee is clearly disclosed in our FAQ's and is again clearly stated on the payment page before you make any payment on the platform. This ensures that users are fully aware of the costs involved.

Additionally, payments are currently not automatic, and this is once again clearly stated when you add your payment method. A clear message is highlighted at the top, reading: “Your card will not be charged, it will only be saved as a payment method. All payments must be initiated by the user.” This is communicated upfront to ensure transparency.

We understand the importance of clarity around fees and payment processes, and we’re committed to making these as straightforward as possible.

Great product and customer service

Great service my landlord received my rental payment instantly and I got Amex points on top of that! Customer service was great and even sent me a payment receipt and confirmation!

The best customer support I have ever experienced

When making my first payment with the app, it triggered an Anti-Money Laundering check, which required a number of forms to be filled out. The average response time on the email support form was around 30 minutes, including on weekends. All forms were completed, no questions asked and I was given the option to call them as well if required. I absolutely recommend these guys if you’re looking close to a credit card reward but might fall just short
