I just received my first order from Penzeys today, and I have to say—my world has officially turned upside down. Until now, I’ve never considered myself a spice snob. Whatever was on the shelf at my local grocery store was just fine…or so I thought.

First off, thank you to Kamala for stopping by Penzeys and prompting the orange guy to throw a tantrum. If it weren’t for his latest hissy fit, I might never have discovered this magical spice oasis.

Second, I’ve got to mention the hoodie I bought from Penzeys. Not only does it deliver some seriously cozy vibes, but it’s hands-down the best-smelling hoodie I’ve ever owned. Honestly, if there were a store near me, I’d pop in just to bask in the euphoria of that spice-laden aroma.

Now, onto the real game-changer: the spices themselves. Tonight, I made one of my husband’s favorite meals, something I’ve cooked at least 50 times. When he walked in, he immediately asked why it smelled so different. The only change? Your spices. Holy smokes! The flavors were deeper, richer, and made the whole meal feel so much more satisfying. I didn’t just cook tonight—I created a culinary masterpiece. And as soon as I finish this review, I’m placing another order to keep this flavor high going.

Thank you, Penzeys, for taking a stand and sparking a rebellious streak in my cooking. If it weren’t for your defiance, I’d still be slogging through life with mediocre spices.

Their spices are loaded with heavy metals buy anything but this brand if you love your family.

McCormick Spices will do the trick just fine. If you are a lying, deceitful, spiteful person speaking on behalf of an organization and who must declare your leftist politics on your company homepage like Penzey Spices does; well then you may just be happier elsewhere like they say. What a complete joke. You're a spice company. Stay in your lane.

I order from them regularly - great selection of quality spices and well-designed blends, with great customer service. Highly recommended, and great gift boxes. They often have sales so if you need to stock up or buy a lot of gifts, sign up for their mailing list.

A nasty company, products terrible and they want to call names if you do not support their political party. Avoid at all cost.

The products and customer service are GREAT. Shipping is reasonable but you would need express shipping for super fast delivery.

The bad reviews are all people whining about the strong stand this company took on politics. Good for them!
They care about saving their democracy from another coup attempt. God bless them.
And there is nothing hateful whatsoever on their web site or in the advertising or customer interactions. In fact, their latest giveaway items are free mugs and stickers with the words 'Choose Love' on them.
So we all know that this is projection on the part of their critics, right?

called their Philly store for help! HOW RUDE!!!!!!!! The woman was mumbling into the phone, whispering, I asked her to speak up she refused. When I asked about a certain spice, she said "we don't have that" and HUNG UP!!!!!!!!!

Be aware, this business lets politics get in the way of taking care of customers. If you are not on the left side, they will call you racist and defame you. Doesn't matter how long you've been a customer or how much money you've spent. For me that equates to 15 years and a thousand+ in dollars. I used to buy their spices for gifts, as well as for myself. And their reviews are altered. If you leave a negative review on social media, they will delete the review and block you. That is so increcibly honest (not).
