Bait and switch company
The company quoted us a premium based on information already on file, accepted our premium, sent an inspector who didn't know what he was doing for an updated inspection, then tried to increase our premium by about 50%. We then insisted on a new inspector, who had to be convinced what he was looking at, finally agreed with us, and the company relented and accepted the amount of the already-paid yearly premium. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Hello Anita. As a company that takes great pride in providing quality service, we try to prevent a situation like this from occurring and truly regret when it does. We apologize that your experience with us was less than satisfactory.
The inspection conducted on June 9, 2020 listed the construction type of your home as masonry veneer instead of masonry construction, which increased the premium. A second inspection on August 5, 2020 determined the first inspection was incorrect. As a result, we've honored the premium quoted for masonry construction. Thank you for allowing us to resolve this issue.
So far no problem.

Good experience with Peoples insurance
This is my first year with Peoples. Service and communication, by phone & e-mail have been efficient & timely. The Peoples agent helped me to select the appropriate coverages at a lower rate. I recommend Peoples for home insurance

My previous insurance was going to charge me 2177.00. I called Patricia from Martin County Florida and she gave me a cheaper price. Patricia was from Northern Trust. When I received you bill it was around $1443 more than my previous insurance. I will be doing some shopping when this contract expires in 2021.

Overall pleased!
The process for changing to People’s Tryst was easy and without issues. We have not had to use our insurance but have no reason to believe we would have any troubles if needed.
