PermaJet Avis 

I have used PermaJet paper for several years and really love the quality. Normally I purchase their products from a local distributor here in Germany, but I recently ordered some paper direct from PermaJet . The package was damaged in shipping even though it was extremely well packed by PermaJet. It was 100% a fault of the delivery company. Louise at PermaJet handled the problem very professionally and very competently. Sometimes we have to have a problem in order to see really how good a company is. Dealing with Louise and PermaJet in a not so pleasing situation was a very good experience overall.

The course was well thought out and covered colour management and how to choose the right paper to match the image. Colin and Louise were really good at giving the information without getting over technical. The afternoon session about choosing the correct paper was enlightening. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day and learned a lot which will help me get better prints at home. The venue was well set out and all our needs were catered for.

Had a great day with Colin and Louise. Excellent value for money for the skills and knowledge gained. Invaluable skills to anyone wanting to get into high quality printing at home.

Had a great day from start to finish. We got taken through the whole process of printing an image. Starting with what settings to use when printing, colour profiles, choosing the correct paper and much much more. Thanks go to Louise and Colin for sharing your knowledge so freely. Excellent workshop on printing and colour management.
Would definitely recommend if you want to print your own photos. Colin went through in detail on how to set up ICC profiles and the settings in Photoshop.
We had drinks provided throughout the day and a lovely lunch.
We were able to see various images printed on a range of papers. It was quite interesting to see how different the same image looked on different papers, which I was very supposed by.
To top off the day we were given an exclusive discount to purchase any papers and other equipment too.

Good introduction to printing and colour management. Well paced, clear instructions on setting up generic and custom ICC profiles also the important of calibrating monitors (both the why and how). An overview of colour spaces and why they are important.
Well presented lunch with tea, coffee and water throughout the day.
The afternoon was spent printing participants images on a range of papers to see the effect, personally I was very surprised how the same image looked very different depending on the paper used.
Excellent day, throughly worth the time and cost.

I attended their From Image 2 Print Workshop held on their premises on 8th November 25. It was superb. Very professionally done, very informative. And for me de-mystified a number of things and washed away certain preconceived ideas I had. Which naturally were erroneous.

The morning was devoted to screen and print a selection and setting them up - i.e calibration. All was explained and demonstrated in an easily digestible manner. The afternoon was devoted to paper selection. This was achieved by them printing our own images on their papers which we selected. We examined each other's prints made our own assessments and of course received constructive feedback from Louise and Colin.

A very worthwhile experience and great value for money. Thank you Permajet

Recently purchased their new Portrait Rag 305 paper and I am blown away. The colour reproduction and detail is exceptional. I have been using their papers for some years and they are constantly pushing the boundaries to produce better paper, this one doesn’t disappoint.

Lively, entertaining, informative, inter-active, helpful and reasonably honest about different brands and the competition. Easy access from A40 and smart premises in the middle of the countryside just outside Stratford so no parking problems at all. They coped with tech issues on the day so that didn't diminish the quality of the presentation. Discounts on their own papers. homemade cakes were just 'icing on the cake'.

Ordered one of the test packs. Pack should have included 10 sheets, only 8 were. On 7 of the sheets there are visible marks caused by the identifying stickers attached to the back of the sheet on top of it.
I tried contacting PermaJet UK multiple times about these problems but I haven't received a response.

The day started with a warm welcome along with tea/ coffee and biscuits. The training was held in a very good facility with everything you could need to hand.

Louise and Colin, both from PermaJet, were a wealth of knowledge and explained all aspects of colour management, paper types and selection along with printer types. Both were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

The course was well presented, enjoyable and very informative and I would have no hesitation in recommending this course to anyone looking to print their images.

Great knowledge transfer.
Being relatively new to serious printing i had a lot of questions and areas i was unsure of.
I found the day very informative and gained a much better understanding of different papers and an approach to colour mangement i can use.
The day was led by Colin and Louise who gave a great interactive feel to the sessions and gave good opportunity to share stories and look at prints from other photographers. The two printing experts in the room gave great insight into their approachs and ideas.
I look forward to using the what i have learnt and trying some more printing.

I recently attended a print workshop at Permajet and absolutely loved it. I am a photographer, and a beginner when it comes to printing.

The workshop cleared up a lot of confusion I had. Louise and Colin hosted the workshop on behalf of Permajet, they provided a warm welcome, and were a database of knowledge, when it came to printing and paper choice.

They printed our images on two different papers of our choice, this demonstrated how one image could look completely different depending on the choice of paper.

I would recommend this workshop to anyone who is thinking about getting into printing. We even got a cheaky discount on papers we wanted to purchase.

A very good day for a photographer wanting to understand the way different photo print papers work with different types of image. A useful pre-amble too on colourspace(s), printer/paper profiles and monitor calibration.

Enjoyable as well as informative
What could have been a laborious, boring presentation was made to be fun and enlightening. I'd recommend anyone that print's their photographs at home or work and wants colour accuracy to attend this course. It's excellent value too.

A warm welcome with tea/coffee waiting for us (not forgetting, the naughty biscuits). Very easy to follow, well explained workshop on printer setup, pc/mac setup and after a lovely lunch actual printing of our own images on a variety paper chosen by us.
Colin and Louise were happy to answer any/all questions throughout the day.
Highly recommend the workshop, the paper selections to buy on the day are outstanding.
