I was debating giving two stars but it…
I was debating giving two stars but it will have to be one.
I placed the order for a embroidered hat for a colleague's leaving gift. It was time sensitive and I was happy to pay the reasonable surcharge for Thursday delivery. I paid in full , confirmed the design and went on my way. By chance I checked my email a few hours later and there was another email wanting a second confirmation that was never mentioned before. I clicked it but the estimated delivery slot was now a week later. I wasn't happy and called the company. the person I spoke to was helpful but pushed back that I hadn't confirmed in time. I pointed out I'd paid for the order and confirmed at the point of purchase, and wasn't told there was a second confirmation email coming. I advised they should text or call if they're going to spring a second unexpected confirmation on clients.I expect they use this to manage workflow. if they send a second confirmation request at a random hour after purchase they can delay orders at will. It must happen regularly. they need to manage their clients expectations. traditionally when you place an order, confirm it and pay for it you expect the delivery date agreed to and paid a premium for will happen. I paid a surcharge for nothing. the hat arrived today and its fine. but I needed it 2 days ago. Its disappointing. One star. If It would simply have been on time 5 stars

Hi Gavin, I am slightly confused on this one, as our workflow is not to send two confirmation emails. We send a confirmation email when the order is placed so you have a record of the order number and a link to be able to access it again later on, and then we send an artwork approval email after our artwork team have reviewed the feasibility of the artwork for the items and decoration process required - at this point we woudl suggest changes to the artwork or product to make it a reality if needs be.
This is not something I have seen before, but I do think that the artwork approval email is so crucial, and if its urgent could probably communicate that better. I'm going to build in an URGENT flag to the artwork approval emails for express delivery orders, so hopefully people notice them.
Sorry that your item didn't arrive on time. We work extremely hard to meet our customers delivery dates, so I am disappointed that this didn't happen for you.

5 star quality
5 star quality. I have ordered from Yazzoo a number of times and the students always say these are by the far the best trip hoodies they have. Excellent quality, the hoodies fit and wash well. Communication is great and I would use again
