Awful experience
Awful experience. A friend invited me to go to the show and I really loved Peter Kay when he had his first big tour as he never punched down and all of his material was family friendly. This performance was NOT family friendly. There was a lot of content relating to his penis and sex, mentions of convicted paedophiles and a photograph of his penis on the big screen behind him during a video about his dead nan, mocking of the disabled and a weird homophobic start. I don’t believe this was marketed as an 18+ show. There were lots of much older members of the audience who seemed to really enjoy the show. If you reminisce of a time that was more homophobic, ableist, racist and misogynistic then this absolutely is the show for you.

I had heard mixed reviews but I thought He was very funny and everyone around me seemed to be enjoying the show.
Fabulous night out tonight in Leeds with Peter Kay
Fabulous night out tonight in Leeds. Drove up from Cornwall to see the show and so glad we did! Laughed from the start to the finish. What a brilliant, talented comedian Peter Kay is! The finally was brilliant mate!! Well done, a night to remember!!
Like catching up with an old friend
Like catching up with an old friend, talking in real time... it wasn't forced, or too practiced or fake. It just felt like a catch up, putting the world to rights, funny stories and nostalgia.
Real fans will appreciate just spending a few hours with Peter Kay. He said at one point " thank you for coming and spending just a couple of hours forgetting your troubles for a bit" and I did.
I laughed and I cried (nana montage)
I think people forget, he is a real person, and just doing his shows now for charity.

He's done his bit. He's an icon. There aren't many days when I don't quote something from one of his shows or relate to him in some way in every day life. On the way in, it started raining..
"that fine rain that soaks you through"
The awards, the level of fame and popularity he had. He was the first uk comedian to do an arena tour for god sake.
But he remains down to earth, humble, self deprecating "we're doing a DVD. next year you'll be able to buy it on the car boot for a pound"
I didn't go for new material, or for the old peter kay. I went with no expectations and was happy just to be there, in the room, remembering and forgetting for a bit.
God bless him.
Disappointing.
Peter Kay - Birmingham 01/05/26.
This perfomance was on the evening of the bomb hoax so only 45 minutes of the show reviewed. I have to say we were really looking forward to this show after battling through bank holiday traffic for 4 hours. Sadly, the portion of the show we did see was just unfunny with the exception of one of the two jokes he told. If any other comedian had used this tired and dated routine I think they would be heckled off. Commendable that the money is going to cancer charities but it's just not entertaining.
Went to see Peter kay on 2/5/26
Went to see Peter kay on 2/5/26, I was very disappointed, sing along to old adverts went on too long , jokes seem old. Trying to get audience to sing , wasted time. Just not what I thought it would be. Don't waste your money, give it to charity of your choice.
I'm in agreement with some reviewers
I'm in agreement with some reviewers, why did I pay to listen to the audience singing old advert tunes for all tge first half. Old material for the second half. A video about his Nan and her discussion about dying. Making jokes about unsavoury celebrities eg Jimmy Saville and others he couldn't mention these days. Why did he need to mention them. Keep them buried, where they belong. Their survivors may be audience members. Don't waste your money. Very old and outdated. Donate to charity yourself.

Enjoyed his show at Birmingham Utilita arena yesterday. Didn’t really know what to expect given some poor reviews but I am happy to say the show was excellent,
If you looking for crude outlandish stuff then it’s not for you, if you like relatively clean humour without offence it’s up probably up your street.
The night after the bomb scare
The night after the bomb scare, it started with Peter, and his camera, checking the audience for ´dodgy’ people, Very funny! I agree with some of the comments about dwelling too long on old adverts and defo not a fan of getting individual members of the audience to sing, this dragged on far to long, but that was the only negative. Great jokes such a funny man fantastic/amazing finale. I think more material could be found through reflections of his own family as he did when he was a child. Thanks Peter Kay for a great show!
Peter was my comedy hero
Peter was my comedy hero. Whent to birmingham show 1/5/26 show started with tv zoom camera routine sorry this does not work for me anymore. Poor quips and not funny. Messing around with a slinky far to long and pointless found it boring and not funny. Singing along to tv advert tunes whent on far to long. Took 20min fot me to have a laugh with the wheel Barrow joke. Unfortunately the arena had to be evacuated for security reasons after 45 minutes. If the show would have improved I don't know. Peter kay is a lovely man and I wish him well. But I don't think I would part with my money to see him live again. As Peter has used the phrase I'll tell you this FOR FREE! And I will concentrate on your well worth charity work. And maybe leave the live shows and take a break for a while.
Saw Peter Kay at Glasgow OVO last night…
Saw Peter Kay at Glasgow OVO last night 4th April 2026. He was brilliant, amazing and worth every penny. My husband and I have loved him for years but last night was the first time seeing him live. What a show!!! And what a showman!!! He was outstanding. We laughed til we were sore. Such a clever guy to be able to command a huge audience for well over 2 hours. The whole arena loved him. The man's a genius. The finale was spectacular. Fantastic show. Don't know how anyone could say otherwise. 👏👏👏
Absolutely hilarious
Had heard some bad reviews but we saw him last night and he was absolutely hilarious. There were no recycled jokes and his new stories were very funny. He's older and his stories reflect that. So glad I finally got to see him live, well worth the money!
A master craftsman. Hydro Glasgow
A master craftsman. To all the negative comments on here. I wonder how entertaining your story telling is? For over two hours. How fascinating and enthralled would we be listening to you?Of course, alternatively, there’s always reality tv shows, cookery programmes, Eastenders, nonstop updates about the orange lunatic destroying the global economy and innocent lives. Or you could try extending your limited imaginations and just enjoy someone like PK offering a temporary escape from all that and stop being so miserable.
Saw Peter last night in Glasgow
Saw Peter last night in Glasgow. A 2024 Christmas present from our daughter. We thought Peter was a little "off kilter" in part one. However, I think he maybe had a cold. Drinking lots of water. Sad eyes and runny nose. However part two, he was back to his magical old self. Bright eyes. Impeccable timing and incredibly funny. The final encore was pure magical. A terrific ending to an emotional night. Well done Peter. I'm fairly sure you have overcome a terrible time in your life.
Just seen Peter Kay in Glasgow last…

Peter Kay last night in Nottingham
Saw Peter Kay last night in Nottingham. I had only seen him on Phoenix Nights and Car Share so did not know fully what to expect. 7000 people having a singalong was beautiful. Some of it would sail over younger audience members for sure however he was warm, obviously funny and the ending was bonkers.
Really poor
Really poor. Old stuff and TV advert theme tunes. Photos of his Nana in various degrees of ill health. The end was cringe worthy pretending to play a shovel to the scooby doo theme. Save your money.
Bought as a Xmas present for the wife
Bought as a Xmas present for the wife. We lived watching his previous material so we're looking forward to it. Went last night to Newcastle Arena and sad to say pretty much a rehash of previous material. When he asked audience to feel free to get up and dance security pounced on anyone standing up...absolutely ridiculous. Ok night and some laughs were had but left quite deflated for what we thought was hopefully going to be all new material.
