Petrolbricks. Avis 36

Very slow delivery, took 18 days from date of dispatch. Very poor customer service, contacted them numerous occasions for updates whilst waiting for my order, all I got was poor excuses each time like "only having a few workers", no apology or customer service skills whatsoever.

I had really high hopes for this order, since it was purchased for my sons 16th birthday in memory of his grandad that recently passed, and used to own and collect Land Rovers. When our order finally arrived 18 days after being supposedly dispatched, it arrived with very poor instructions and parts missing! Having read other reviews, I'm not the only one who has has experienced this problem

I didn't bother contacting them again to complain since their customer service is so useless, they really did exasperate me with their rudeness. Luckily my son is very good at building Lego anyway so he still managed to build it-albeit a different model to what it was supposed to be since parts were missing.

I'm very disappointed with my overall experience with Petrolbricks, as I do love the concept but overall very poor value for money. Sadly I won't be buying from them again, very disappointing as we were looking forward to building a collection of models. Will be taking our business elsewhere.

Ordered 16 December and I’ve followed up with their customer service. Nothing has arrived. I don’t think this company is real and I would avoid.

Update: since posting this they contacted me over email to say that my order is on the way and sent a screenshot of some tracking - the tracking they’ve provided to me still hasn’t updated.

After adding details of my order to Trustpilot they’ve contacted me on WhatsApp to say they will stop the shipping of my product till I remove this review. Not sure what I win by removing this review as I’ve still had no tangible proof any product is on its way and I’ve also not had a refund.

Ordered on the 18th December and was recognised by the courier the same day. Since then nothing has changed. I have even had an email saying it’s arrived in my county, which is just bizzare. Tracking hasn’t updated despite emails from them saying it would be with me by now. Going by reviews I’ve also been scammed and won’t be receiving the gift I had bought for my petrol head father.

Ordered 16th December thinking this was a UK site and was going to be a Christmas present. Tracking updated and the 17th December and nothing has changed since. I've contacted and all they tell me is that it's on its way and will be a few days. Fed up of waiting and contacting to being fobbed off each time. Will be trying to get a refund through PayPal. I'd avoid this site to avoid unnecessary disappointment

Buyer beware! Shocking company with poor customer service that has informed me the item was on its way since 13 Dec 24. The tracking did not change stating that the courier was ‘waiting for my item’. Having raised a payment dispute to get my money back from PayPal, I have today been informed that they have now finally sent it, 2 weeks after assuring me it was ‘on its way’! I don’t believe I will ever receive the item or a refund from them so will continue to pursue through PayPal. I have had nothing but lies for weeks from this company.

Really in love with this cars. Im doing my own collection, and so great customer service. You’ve created a member of the petrolbricks family!

Ordered 16 December. Conflicting information on dispatch. The email tracking said it was dispatched at 10:36. Got email at 10:20. So that's a red flag. 27th now and still not out for delivery. Christmas ruined. Would be quicker to order direct from China!!!

Christmas gift of M3 E30 Black. Instructions via QR code seemed fine but although they are accurate it is just a document image so you can’t rotate to see blocks in 3D like Lego Builder allows. This would help immensely to show how parts lock together and the alignment and also helps to differentiate between the bricks which were dark grey, grey and back for majority of the build.

Also when building a multi part of back window, the slope mechanism doesn’t work right for alignment therefore the arrangement, does line up properly.

I am going to break it all down and start again which is frustrating to see if I’ve made a mistake , but for time being …. I can’t rate it any higher, and I am an avid builder of Lego and Lego Technics kits and found this unnecessarily challenging, which is a shame as I really wanted to like this for future purchase’s.

If I could give zero stars I would. Placed order on 14th December after reading up on petrol bricks website about their shopping policy being orders labelled and despatched within 48 hours of placing order, imagine my surprise when tracking told me my parcel had not even left.china by 19th December..received email to say parcel would be with me in couple of days... Currently 26th December... Tracking says parcel is in Kansas USA. Very dishonest company and not transparent about the shipping even though they were advertising "Christmas deals" in time for Christmas which led to me placing an order. Avoid avoid avoid

Cars look amazing!! I got some for my own collection and some for gifts to my cousins and they loved it. They have lots of bricks so get ready for a session of hard building.

UPDATE

Well my car arrived just in time to be wrapped and put under the tree and I've also had my money refunded so I guess that's a tick on the customer service front. However, stating that they're taking legal action because of this factual review does temper my view very very slightly. The parcel was sent from China hence the glacial dispatch times (the original label was on the package when it arrived).

My order has apparently arrived in the UK..... from China. Further updates soon!

Update to the Update. Their legal department is taking action against me. I'm assuming because I haven't deleted this factually correct review.

Update. After seeing this review they offered to refund AND send out the package that they've already sent... But they want me to delete this review. Still waiting for the refund to process.

Ordered one of their products 12 days ago.. Was told it was dispatched and nearly with me. Checked on the tracking, still not left the warehouse. They blamed the delivery company and said yesterday they would dispatch it that day with express delivery. Asked for tracking details today and was told it would be dispatched tomorrow.

Petrolbricks blew my mind! This Dodge Charger kit is my favorite build ever.

I ordered the G Wagon G63 from petrolbricks, and I couldn’t be happier! The shipping was faster than expected, and the product quality was excellent—exactly as described. I was initially hesitant about ordering online, but everything went smoothly, and I even received regular tracking updates. Highly recommend them!

Lo compré para regalárselo a mi novio por su cumpleaños (es un fanático de los coches en general y compré el mismo modelo de coche que el tiene) y le hizo mucha ilusión. Muy buena calidad, el envío muy rápido y además en el paquete nos incluyeron un par de regalos. Está contentísimo!!
