I have used this company for years and wouldn't change to anyone else. From start to finish the staff and dog sitters go above and beyond to make sure they give you and your pets the best care and compassion. Cheryl is fantastic at finding you the best place for your pets stay and the meet and greet is a great way for you and your pets to feel content with the sitter in question. I recently went away and Mandy looked after my 3 dogs, a 12 yr old jug with skin allergies that requires medication daily, a 3 yr old hyperactive frenchie and a 2 yr old intact english bulldog who also has got challenging behaviour when out on walks and he can be overwhelming when meeting new people. Mandy took it in her stride and accepted to have my dogs while I went away, I had regular contact with Mandy while I was away she sent pictures and sent regular updates of what they was getting upto without me they enjoyed their stay with her and got lots of attention which they lapped up. I also give my Jug anti allergy tablets for her skin condition which mistakenly forgot to pack her after we spoke Mandy kindly went out of her way to go get some tablets for my dog i was over the moon. 1000% recommend pet stay for all you needs for your pets and always recommend Pet Stay to people who ask who I use. Guarantee you and your pets will love this company and the carers.

I have had a great experience with PetStay. I was apprehensive about leaving my dog, Max, because he is almost blind, diabetic and requires medication. Cheryl took a lot of care and time into finding a suitable dog sitter for me and responded quickly to any queries I had. The meet-up with the sitter before the holiday is great as you get to tell them all about your dog so they know how best to look after them. Max had a great stay with Susan and I was able to relax and enjoy my holiday knowing he was being well looked after.

Kay happily looked after our very old, profoundly deaf, arthritic dog for 3 days.

Older and not so able dogs needs are much greater than that of able hearing dogs and Kay coped admirably.

Our dog looked happy on our return and judging by his actions he would have undoubtedly been just as happy to stay with Kay for a much longer period.

We are so delighted that Catriona recommended you to us Kay, and hope that should we ever need a pet sitter in the future that you too would be happy to take Sam on again.

This was the first time that our 2 year old Labrador Betty has stayed with anyone outside of family and it was the longest she has been without us, so I was initially nervous about leaving her. I needn’t have been worried, from our first meeting with Victoria and Simon we were put at ease and could quickly see that Betty would be well looked after and their house feel like home for her stay. Contact over Wattsapp prior to her stay was quick and easy and Victoria listened carefully to us about Betty’s routines and little ‘quirks’. It was lovely to get regular updates, photos and videos whilst we were away, Betty was happy, settled and part of the family with Victoria and Simon. I thought Betty would be mad at us for leaving her but how quickly and easy she settled back home when we picked her up is a testament to how happy and settled she was with Victoria and Simon, it was definitely home away from home! A massive thankyou to Victoria and Simon for making Betty (and us) feel so welcome. We will be back 😊

Ruth pulled out all the stops to have Scooby looked after at the very last minute for us. She was absolutely wonderful and came up with several options to help us out. Steph and her family looked after Scooby so well, he had plenty of play & cuddles and was taken on great walks. Great care was taken especially in the heat. Thank you so much for all your amazing help! This is the second time I have used Pet Stay and I would highly recommend.

I have boarded Freddie’s with both Alison and with Annette and Ian Hudson I can’t praise them enough. What a treat to go on holiday knowing hat my dog will receive the very best of care. On one trip Freddie had an ear infection and Annette was in constant contact with me and Sophia helped to and he was taken to the vets and his meds all sorted for me. These people are not just paid boarders, they really care for your pets as though they are their own. In fact I think Freddie thinks Ian is his new best friend and he follows him everywhere. I would not hesitate to recommend Pet Stay. They are efficient, reliable and most of all kind.

Using petstay was easy and Tracy was fantastic the dogs were very well looked after and looked right at home. All I'd say is the admin fee is very steep compared to what the carer receives.

This was the first year we used Petstay for our dog Bella (and it won't be the last) Bella loved staying with Andrien, we were sent photos and videos of her having a fab time, which made are hoilday better as we were not worrying.
The service Petstay provide is brilliant, we cannot fault it at all.
The little touches of having photos and videos sent to families is brilliant too.
Would recommend to anybody considering Petstay.
I'm sure Bella is looking forward to going back next year too!

Beau spent the week at Giovanni and Stuart’s house and i can say he had the best time. I loved the daily videos of beaus adventures and was made to feel at ease on my holiday knowing Beau was in such good hands.

Our 1 year old collie had his second stay with Jenny and Mark and it was clear that he loved them! From the second we arrived, he was pawing at the door to be let in, then he greeted Jenny as though she was his best friend! We had frequent updates with photos and when we collected him, he'd obviously been cared for as though he was a member of the family. We'll definitely be using Petstay again in the future.

Bobby and Hettie had an enjoyable stay with Daphne. They went on some lovely walks and came home thoroughly worn out. Daphne kept us updated to let us know how they were getting on.

It was the first time we have ever left our 6 year old labradoodle Alfie with anyone! He stayed with Chris and we couldn’t have asked for better. 👍
Even though Alfie is big, he is nervous and reactive to other dogs but Chris reassured us that he would be fine .. and he was … lots of walks, attention, chilling on the sofa and feeling at home.
We checked in most days and could holiday knowing Alfie was happy and safe! 🐾 Chris sent us photos of Alfie having his own little ‘holiday’ …
We will definitely ask Chris to have Alfie again and can totally recommend Petstay! 💙

Our puppy Darla stayed with Jacqui and Ray for 5 days, I was kept updated throughout by Jacqui with photos and updates. Darla enjoyed her stay and would definitely recommend Jacqui and Ray to any pet owners looking for someone to look after their puppy/dog.

Ruby our Cockapoo had a weekend stay with Jackie Gahan Friday to Sunday. Jackie was knowledgable and helped Ruby to settle. Jackie followed Ruby’s routines.

Mike and Denise looked after our dog (Toto) who is a golden retriever, for two weeks.

The introduction, drop-off, and pick-up were all super friendly, which made everything easy right from the start.
Toto got to go on varied and interesting walks, including trips to the newspaper shop and cafes. The area around the house has access to wooded trails which Toto loves.
We enjoyed getting regular photo updates of Toto's holiday, which completely reassured us that our dog was having a great time.
It was obvious that the Mike and Denise genuinely enjoyed looking after Toto, and they took brilliant care of him.
Highly recommended.

Woody spent 2 weeks with Jenny and Mark from PetStay and had a wonderful time. Jenny kept us updated with daily photos and videos and was more than happy to maintain the quirky routine we have for Woody. I couldn’t recommend them enough. We have rebooked already !

Dexter was very happy staying with Ann in Breaston, Derbyshire. Really local which is excellent as the area is familiar with him . Met Ann the day before his stay and he was comfortable from the start . She kept us up to date with how our boy was doing . Professional and caring . Wouldn't hesitate in recommending and leaving him again . Real home from home .

The dogbsitter is wonderful, reliable and always welcoming but the booking fee of £14 PER DAY is excessive and although I have used this service previously I won’t use them again. With bookings for other services one usually only pays for the total booking, not per day. But I will investigate this. The star rating is a reflection of the cost of the service, not the company.
