Weird experience
Weird experience, weird "customer service"
In the time that we were under contract with them my point of contact changed 6 times. I never knew who I should reach out to and their website is not useful. When we let them know we did not want to renew our contract with them, the boy who said he was client care rep got very defensive and weird. He was trying to bully us into keeping services from them but to be honest their services are not even close to worth the money for us. My biggest complaint though is that they are completely ignoring my request for written confirmation that they do not need anything more from us to cancel and instructions on what to do with the equipment we have from them. Very unprofessional and just straight up weird. I've read a lot of reviews from people that sound like they've had very similar experiences with them. I would seriously caution anyone considering their services.

I was unaware that we had a contract…
I was unaware that we had a contract with this company when I took the Business Over, even though we had used them for 10 years. I missed the cancellation deadline; it was rolled over for another 36 months, and they refused to cancel! I agreed it was my mistake, but they said they would not cancel and would continue charging for an unwanted service, which they did for 3 years.
They have no loyalty or understanding. I am sure there are better companies out there.
It's all about the experience!

Dodgy dodgy dodgy, complete waste of time!!! don't sign up to this company we were with them for 4 years didn't hear a thing from them till we decided to cancel the account then they rang and harassed me multiple times a day to pay the remaining balance on the account and now they are trying to charge us more money to close the account.... We were supposed to get two updates a year on our account so we could make changes and nothing...... didn't hear from them once over the time period at all!!!

PHMG has always created awesome…
PHMG has always created awesome sounding voicemails. They have also been very forefront about any technical issues with uploading Trust them completely with our companies 300 + iPhone fleet.
Beware
This company did not deliver the service they promised. We were told to expect monthly updates, but in the last year they only reached out once. Most of the time, we had to follow up ourselves just to get any work done.
The contract terms were also a major issue. There is a strict notice requirement to avoid automatic renewal, and if that deadline is missed, you can be locked into another long-term agreement. That was not made clear upfront.
After we decided not to continue, the volume of calls and emails to both our office and our staff was almost daily and interfered with our day-to-day operations.
It is also worth noting that concerns have been raised about this company’s contract terms. The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission investigated these contracts and raised issues about automatic renewals and terms that could require customers to continue paying for services they no longer wanted.
I strongly recommend that anyone considering this company read the contract very carefully—especially the renewal terms and notice requirements—before signing.
Easter Holiday Recording
I needed a recording for our phones over Easter and it normally takes up to 5 working days, but Tanya had the recoding over to me within 24 hours and they were just as we needed.
Everyone is always very pleasant and helpful.
We had a very disappointing experience…
We had a very disappointing experience with PHMG. We originally signed a contract for their phone system recordings and later contacted them well in advance of the end of the agreement to confirm that we did not intend to renew the service.
Despite clearly stating our intention not to continue the contract over a year before it was due to expire, PHMG are attempting to rely on an automatic renewal clause to roll the agreement into a further 36-month term.
In our view this type of contract structure is extremely aggressive and not something that is made sufficiently clear when the agreement is first entered into. Businesses should be very careful before signing as the terms allow the contract to renew for long periods unless specific notice procedures are followed.
If you are considering using PHMG, I would strongly advise reading the contract terms very carefully and understanding the renewal conditions before committing.
