I’ve been with them for sometime they always very helpful on the phone .

Clear helpful answers and gave me time to think about the answers I was given.

So far - not good. Having paid into a pension plan for many years and performance not matching a plan with a different company, it is taking a long time to get any payment. I was referred to The Hub as an independent advisor, but that was a waste of time - the only information offered was what I knew beforehand and a request for further details of the Phoenix Life policy caused further delay. I hope to be content when I receive payments, but I still don't know how long I will have to wait.

Incorrect information no one knew the same company information and the company need to sort this and I had to chase all the time currently seeking compensation

I first got in touch with Phoenix in Jan. They told me I was early and needed only a month to sort out my pension for payment in May. I decided to start earlier in March and I still am waiting. It’s impossible getting hold of the right department - they keep passing you to different people who are able to answer your questions or give you conflicting information.
I was told that one of the pensions I have with PL has a GAR. I transferred all the others apart from this one only to be told that I could get a better rate elsewhere despite the GAR and couldn’t explain why. They passed me to Hub FS who found a better rate. Just as they went through the process of transferring it, they sent me a quote which is much better than that from Hub. When I rang them to take that up, upset that i was given a low rate previous and therefore leading to them transferring me to Hub, PL then told me that it was incorrectly calculated. I told them that if something is priced in the shop, they have to honor it. I filed a complaint for all the above and am still waiting for a response. I wouldn’t be surprised with this delay they are going to say it has now passed the time limit. I’m still waiting for them to honour it!

I await confirmation that the pot of funds can be transferred. Sadly the decision many years ago to invest in this policy was a bad one. This is proven as GMP type policies are no longer available.

The gentleman explained everything thoroughly and clearly giving me ample time to digest the information. He listened to my explanation as to why I need the money.

Customer service was good but unfortunately had to phone to get a statement sent out.

For a pension company I was dealt with very quickly which I was pleased about.

i was told i'd be sent agreements by email. i've not recieved anything. poor communication generally.
