I’ve used Pit Pat on my dog Loki for…

I’ve used Pit Pat on my dog Loki for almost a year now and can certainly recommend it and have done to a lot of dog owners we’ve met. I use it to see how much daily exercise Loki has which is really addictive!
The customer service is amazing too.
When I’ve ordered items they arrive by next delivery day.

Easy to set up and use

Potentially 5stars but....

Would have given 5stars except the battery doesn't last very long - probably 3 days, before needing a recharge.

Looking at your logs, it does seem like the device is sitting on a network that can cause it to drain slightly quicker. However, this may be the strongest network in the area.

Really wanted to love this but….

Really wanted to love this but have used it twice in 2 years, its pretty useless for me unfortunately. We live in a rural area and although we have good signal (3 or 4 bars of 4G), the unit reports constant very slow signal. Rarely can we find a satellite (no tall buildings or trees nearby). When it does randomly connect, it only shows the dogs location every few minutes- I need a live location to find him (maybe this is possible when you ‘start a walk’ but Ive never been able to find signal and gos to do this). I also need geofencing so im altered when he leaves our land. There are cheaper products out there which live locate and geofence so this priduct was wasted money for me.
Shame, lovely branding and customer service- a pitpat 2.0 is needed

Rarely gets a signal

Rarely get a signal to track my dog on any of the walks I do even when I have a good phone signal and internet on my phone. Pretty pointless fo me really.

I'm sorry to hear you are having a poor experience so far with your tracking. I can see you have reached out to us, but unfortunately we never heard back from you.

I've taken a look at your logs and there are a few things you can try to improve things.

Please click on your dog's profile photo and scroll down to Adjust Settings. You can then swap this to Urgent.

Before heading out on any adventures, we would recommend selecting Start A Walk. I normally do mine around 5 minutes before leaving the house. So that, when you do need to use Find My Dog, you should find it much quicker. Just remember to End A Walk when you return in order to preserve the battery.

The pitpat gps tracker is great and I've been using it since it was released and before that the activity tracker. I've been using them since may 2020. The customer service when you have any issues is fantastic. I'm also using the pet insurance and the service is also exemplary. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

I just got Kitty a replacement PitPat…

I just got Kitty a replacement PitPat because the battery gave up after several years of service in the UK and different European countries.
A great little gem of kit for us travelers.
