Would give no stars if possible don't waste your time. Takes forever to earn money. Have to have 1m points just for 5 bucks. They don't credit points you have earned most of the time. The only high points are for purchases and even after contacting support 3 times w proof of purchases they still haven't give me points. Just a waste of space taken up for nothing. Play best play earn money every time easy to earn great ap not based on points just get paid for time played that simple.

I never heard of this company when I called it was a man with a bad English accent...
He was the nicest and kindest person I spoke to. The service was amazing the goods were with me and delivered with in 3 days.. I would definitely say this is a very good company and brilliant customer service.
I will recomend and say don't judge a book by the cover .

Excellent customer services, I'd put in an order then a couple of days later was emailed that part of my order was now out of stock but could provide me with alternatives. I'd asked if I could make an additional payment for a slightly more expensive option, and they responded by offering to send it with no additional costs.

Awful company and condition of double end speed bag. It arrived with yellow mold all over it. Sent multiple emails but only received one reply.

Fantastic products and absolutely excellent customer service, I regularly buy from them and not once have I had an issue or problem.

Terrible and frankly arrogant service from person purporting to be the owner .

Bought a Gi and Gi pants (and a belt i hadn’t ordered which i thought was quite honest of me) returned the order (no returns label enclosed conveniently) to address on the packaging . After a week heard nothing so chased it up . Turns out the address on packaging is no longer their address as it had burnt down (?) I have asked for a full refund to be told i have to wait for the item to ‘returned to sender’ from Royal Mail . I expect the item will never be seen again and i’ll be out of pocket by £100+ .
There’s a company called Combatica too - this is also ‘playwell martial arts’

My honesty in returning the item i hadn’t even ordered wasn’t even acknowledged !!!!

I have asked if the owner values good customer service but he didn’t reply.

Ordered a samuri sword on site said 19 inch turned up 14 inch no holder either totally different as advertised should not advertise merchandise as not as described contacted them and had no interest really about my problem all they said was send back and refund not the point should not advertise false merchandise then they updated their site with the proper Size sword still charged the same thou even thou it was 5 inch shorter sales skills poor customer service inadequate overall minus star for me if you don't want to help or sell right equipment get out and do something eles. That's my advice not the first time had problems with this company if we all keep getting wrong orders etc then maybe trading standards will act .

The 8 sword floor rack I bought my son for his birthday is not fit for purpose. Not only does it not assemble because one of the holes is far too small, but the wood is rough, unfinished and damaged. Total waste of money and they won't accept it back because I had to wait for my son's birthday and it has gone over the 30 days.

I bought a £10.99 item from Playwell.... I need to protect my shins as they bleed easily if knocked I ordered the shin pads but unfortunately they were not suitable. It cost me £4.99 (expensive) to have the item sent to me and £3.35 to return so a total of £8.01 so I got £2.98 net back? Akib was not really concerned that I felt the costs unfair and did not offer any kind of customer service so I am doing this review to say be very sure that you want the item before purchasing as it has proved costly to me.

I'm actually fairly happy following my last order with them. Supplies as ordered came out to me in good time.

Update - Had one item as yet they're awaiting delivery of to send out to me still.

Had a couple of queries and got those sorted promptly through their customer services by phone. Overall good service. Would order again.

Quality of goods supllied is on the whole good. Goods are training items mostly for Krav Maga studies.

Don’t order from here. The customer service is lacking! They don’t send items when they claim they will. You pay £10.99 for 24 hour delivery but then it takes 4 days to come. No apology for this or explanation when placing order. False advertising at its finest.

As for Akib, you sure lack in true customer service. Your passive aggressive email response doesn’t sit well. Learn some basic skills and speak to customers with a little more respect.

I recently paid a visit to them to buy some kung fu slippers and found all the staff to be extremely polite, professional, friendly and helpful (they put what I needed aside until I visited the next day). I used to buy the slippers (before I knew Playwell existed) elsewhere, who no longer sell them. Playwell sell the exact same items, which are very good quality and a better price!
Although I had to travel quite a way to them (as I needed to see and try the items before buying) it was definitely worth it.
Just wish I had found them before now!!
I will always buy from Playwell in the future. Great service and highly recommend.

Wanted to order 2 BO staffs, on the web site it states the following, "FOR UK CUSTOMERS WHEN ORDERING BULK NUMBERS SHIPPING MAX CHARGE WILL BE £9.99 FOR UPTO 20 BO STAFFS". So went to check out, Postage £17 to Worcestershire, when I queried it, I was told that what it is. Got the something from somewhere else postage £5 all in.

I ordered and paid for some clothing items in the afternoon, the same evening I received an email saying that they were out of stock of those items and would I mind waiting two weeks approx. for them, so I went back to the items on the Playwell website, they were still advertised as purchasable (I have a screen print of this). I emailed Playwell with the above information, no response, so I am now disputing the payment with the payment provider, and I won't be doing business with them again. BEWARE!

I've shopped with playwell a few times now. Yesterday I ordered two red oak Jo staffs and 2 pairs of nunchucks. Delivery was pricey but they came via courier , were quite heavy, packaged well and arrived quickly. The kids are going to love them! The gi's I've ordered previously have been of great quality too. I've recommended them to all parents in our karate class. Hopefully they'll buy from here too. I've had great customer service.

Was in need of a hanbo. Got the white oak one as well as white oak escrima. Arrived with no problems. Happy with both items. Will be back again, thanks.

i ordered a product and its been 6 days akib said that it will take 4-8 days so i have an app that shows what products are coming my way and it says that it hasnt even been sent yet and i know that it cant be delivered in 2 days

Fantastic shop. Akib was happy to refund a return many months after purchase as my son had given up martial arts and hadn't used the items. Very trustworthy. This service is above and beyond. Many thanks.
