Plugable Technologies Avis 4

Product works-ish... I have one of the devices to extend a mac to multiple monitors and every few weeks I get a lot of screen flicker which makes it unusable.

I have tried debugging it with the support staff and have raised the issue many times and they make me jump through hoops to tell me I need to restart my laptop or redownload some software. The thing is I use this accross multiple different machines and have the same issue so to me the issue is with the device or software.

Not satisfied with customer service or product. I paid a lot of money. I want the product to work or a replacement.

The plugable usb-c dock fixed my multimonitor setup instantly. I love this company because they actually explain how the hardware works

Not compatible with a Mac. The camera isn’t recognised by the computer and thus the microscope doesn’t work. The only camera the application recognizes is the front facing device camera, not the USB microscope. Even after redownloading the drivers and trying multiple different ports. There is very little troubleshooting advice on Plugable.com and the instructions in the box are vague/brief. Disappointing!

I ordered a plugable displaylink dock. Within a few days of using the dock its HDMI port stopped working. The dock was well within the warranty but Plugable won't send a replacement because it was bough from unauthorized seller ShopBLT.com. Now I am stuck with this $300 faulty device. Regret buying this expensive dock.
