I had an amazing experience with PNW Ski Garage. We rented through them for our AIARE 1 class and Ciarán went above and beyond what I had anticipated. We met Ciarán at our pickup location and he was extremely friendly and informative. He made sure the boots fit properly and adjusted the skis on spot. I had 0 touring experience so he gave lots of tips. We had a great time at our AIARE course and drop off was even easier than the pickup. Renting through the PNW Ski Garage was extremely convenient because they rent both the ski touring setups as well as all needed safety gear (beacon, probe, shovel, and backpack). I will definitely rent through them again and would highly recommend anyone who is interested to take a look at the PNW Ski Garage.

I could not be happier with my experience with PNW Ski Garage! Ciaran is awesome and is offering a very cool and much needed service to help people access the backcountry. My partner and I rented touring setups from Ciaran for an AIARE course, and the entire process, from reserving the gear, to meeting Ciaran for pickup, to the return, was easy and a total pleasure. The gear we rented was excellent quality and everything we needed. It was so helpful being able to easily find everything in one spot, and to not have to run around coordinating rescue gear vs skis/boots from separate places. PNW Ski Garage has put together a well thought out system with great gear.

Ciaran is genuinely excited to get people safely into the backcountry, and we really appreciated his willingness to answer all of the questions we had as newcomers to the backcountry touring experience. We are also very grateful for the time he took to run through all of the gear during our pickup. I could not recommend Ciaran and PNW Ski Garage more highly, whether you need gear for an upcoming backcountry course, are trying ski touring for the first time and want to get a feel for the gear, or whatever your need may be!

I loved my experience renting gear! I was taking an avalanche course and was able to schedule a pick up and drop off at a time/location convenient for me rather than cross town and have to take time off work. Ciaran was super knowledgeable and made sure we knew how to use the gear.
