Had a new front and back door and a replacement window fitted by Polar and I'm really pleased with the quality and service provided. Salesmen wasn't pushy and offered some really good advice on the choice of different doors. The fitters were on time and cleaned up and left everything tidy! I'd definitely recommend Polar windows without a doubt!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with Polar Windows. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth and stress-free. We decided to upgrade our home with new uPVC windows and a gorgeous composite door, and it has made such a difference.

All new windows fitted in June 2022. Excellent price and fitters were great - no mess whatsoever. Had a problem with a faulty frame in May 2024 and after 2 months of trying to get it replaced, it was finally done today by Micky and Cal who have been absolutely excellent. Cannot fault either set of fitters, but the company don't know what after service is.

Don't use Polar Windows. I had some doors fitted, which were sub-standard. I have been trying to get them replaced for the last 3/4 months. These guys don't give a s**t after they have been paid. Even when I raised a formal complaint, I had no response. Take your business somewhere else. I won't be using them again.

I needed urgent help with my conservatory, not supplied or built by Polar may I add, I spotted the van and gave them a bell within 4 hours the team came around and checked the issue - I had a slider ( panel slipping ) caused by the tropical weather conditions (lol) parts ordered and hey presto next day all fixed great service, polite and respectful and professional service thank you Team Polar

Our fitter brought so much from this company, all new windows for our house, a massive conservatory with a warm roof - all in anthracite - beware Polar Windows of Chesterfield doors and windows expand in the heat - you cant use them, not very good. Our fitter also ordered Door Stop Composite doors from Polar Windows of Chesterfield....

We are now on our second set of Door Stop composite doors, first set failed - bowed. We eventually had a second set provided. They too have failed, bowed plus the main locking plates breaking (not very secure). Supplied through Polar Windows of Chesterfield. Door Stop only deal with suppliers.

My trade fitter ordered them through Polar Windows of Chesterfield, who went BUST but are still trading with a slightly different name - so convenient! Door Stop will only deal with supplier so we are stuck with no-one taking responsibility and another pair of poor quality doors that are not worth the expensive cost to have them fitted. AVOID AVOID AVOID Polar Windows of Chesterfield and Door Stop. The warranties are worthless. Going to have to go legal and use litigation to sue my trusted fitter and in turn they can can sue Polar and Door Stop, so much for all the gough about how good services and products are - all a load of rubbish.

Bought 2 doors, 5 windows, and 1 set of new glass for an attic refit. The installers basically trashed my house; it was a rainy day so they'd trodden muddy water throughout all the rooms and didn't clean it, they threw parts of the old window onto the lawn leaving big diverts and broken glass, they cracked a large piece of plaster getting the backdoor off and glued a piece of plastic trimming over it to hide it, they left black silicon bits and finger prints on the outside of the windows so I had to lean out of a two story window to clean it, they didn't bring enough glass panes to do the attic window which they forgot about doing anyway, i had to call them several times to arrange a new fitting date and i was avoided each time - was sent an email saying she was busy as an excuse - and the guy that came over asked me how he was supposed to fit the window... he'd also attempted to fix a small window which left a gap when closed leaving a puddle of water on the floor when it rained. They'd also not tightened the tension on the doors so it was loud, cold, and drafty. The windows as a product were worse than what I'd already had and let a lot of traffic noise in, and heat out.

Will never use again.

Have used this Company for over 20 years have had doors windows fascia boards gutters French doors and a Juliet balcony fitted to my property with no problems all good. I have just started to have new windows fitted and my last one was fitted recently however this has developed a fault on the handle this was reported by me today for repair 25-7-22 because the window cant be locked and is insecure however the first date for repair is 23-08-22 ?
With the money I have spent with this Company and the recommendations I have given to my large circle of friends I expected better after sales but it appears that the Company has gone down hill what has happened.

Polar Windows, Chesterfield - Not recommended
Booked an engineer to visit in the afternoon of the 1st December 2021. Received a text at 08.30 on the 1st telling me that the Engineers van had broken down and that the next available appointment would not be until the New Year. Can only describe this as unacceptable and unreliable. Would not recommend Polar Windows, Chesterfield.
