Excellent Service was provided by Tom at the Silverburn, Glasgow Pop Specs.
My son needed new specs very quickly and from turning up at counter to collecting 2 pairs of specs, the whole thing was done in under an hour!
Tom was so patient and helpful and clearly very knowledgeable about the products regarding style, practicality, lenses etc.
He also called the optician that had carried out the eye test for the prescription, as we hadn’t taken a copy with us. So helpful and pleasant as if it wasn’t a problem.
The price point is remarkably low but the quality is great.
Another High Street Optician advised it would take 1 week - 10 days for delivery !!
Thank again Tom you did very good and you’re a lovely pleasant guy to do business with.
It’s people like this who are a company’s most valuable resource.

So my wife and I bought a pair of glasses each. She had upgraded and they cost £135. Mine were standard £75.

This was May 25. In August 25 my wife’s frame snapped and a lense fell out. We went to the shop we bought them from and they said….

We will contact you if we can find another frame the same and then….

They glued the frame!!!! 3 months old glasses!!!

We have since emailed Pop-Soecs twice with no response at all….

To tell a story, last week my Specsavers, 2 for £100 frames snapped. They were 13 months old. Went to local store and within 15 minutes I walked out with new frames… no hassle, no questions.

The moral of this story is… you pay for what you get… or do you!!! 2 for £100 is £50 a pair…. £25 less than pop-specs and with outstanding customer service.

My advice…. Go somewhere where after sales care is a thing and they look after you. Our experience of Pop-Specs is they simply don’t care!

Had a very limited amount of time to select some sunglasses. Brogan was really helpful and honest and I was able to make a decision very quickly with her help. Excellent service and the glasses were made speedily. Looking forward to going back when I have more time!

I bought a pair of frames from the Westfield Shepherds Bush stand and asked for transition lenses. Waited a few days because they have to be specially ordered. On collecting them the lenses felt ‘slightly off’ but I thought it was just because of the new frames. I kept taking them on and off during the day but something wasn’t right. I kept feeling like there was a lot of glare (on an anti glare product) and the lenses felt like they had fingerprints on them even though they were perfectly clear. After a few hours I contacted head office who said I should take them back to the store. I live two hours away and asked if I could take them back to Stratford Westfield instead. This request was refused, even though it’s the same company. After a two hour journey back I saw the manager who for an hour and a half gave me every excuse under the sun as to why he wouldn’t or couldn’t give me a refund. Admittedly he tested the lenses against my current ones and they were exactly same. He tried them on, his assistant tried them on and they couldn’t find what i was experiencing when wearing them. Of course they couldn’t it wasn’t their prescription!! He then pulls out the Terms and Conditions and shows me that the company refuse to to give refunds on prescription glassses. This was never shown to me at the point of sale or given to me on collection of the glasses. In the end I refused to leave the stand and threatened further action. I was ‘happyish’ with the frames even though one arm is noticeably looser than the other and couldn’t be tightened anymore. But I got multiple excuses and reasons why I wouldn’t be refunded. After an hour and a half I finally got back 60.00 for the cost of the transition lenses. Frames on their own cost 60.00 and 75.00 with their standard lenses. So I was still 15.00 out of pocket. I should never have been put in this position. The goods were not fit for sale as the end user. I wanted a refund because the lenses had a fault that only I could see when wearing them. This company will never see me again and I will make sure that I discourage as many people from buying any product from Pop Specs. If the Dragons Den investors or owners are reading this you should be thoroughly ashamed at your low levels of service when you have a customer with a genuine complaint.

UPDATE:
After reading this review both the manager and one of the co-owners contacted me. They have now changed the no refund policy and have compensated me satisfactorily. This is exactly how great customer service should be. I would now return to PopSpecs knowing that they actually do value their customers.

A beautiful selection of frames unlike the boring High St ones and so well priced that I bought two pairs. I was able to upload my prescription from SpecSavers right there and then and pick up my new glasses within 30 mins. It took longer to choose - so many gorgeous designs. Outstanding service was given a few weeks ago when my son purchased a pair of glasses with his prescription. Not only is there more of a fantastic variety to choose from compared to other high street competitors for £75 you receive your glasses back within 30 mins so no waiting days for them to return to the shop. On top of this we were served surprisingly by the lovely founder Lina who was visiting the Newcastle store. Couldn't rate them highly enough. Thank you

I visited Norwich (Chantry Place) Pop specs and had a great experience. Having already had a poor experience with Specsavers (Norwich), I saw the Pop specs stand in the main shopping centre and decided to give them a try.
I was served by Abbi who was brilliant, I suggest you ask for Abbi as she had such a nice and friendly demeanour about her. She was engaging and genuinely wanted to help me. I was reluctant to buy my first pair of glasses and because of Abbi I bought two (a pair for reading and a pair for driving). She made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable, I could have listened to Abbi talk about my "Astigmatism" all day. :)
I can not speak highly enough about how good Abbi was. That saying is true... People don't buy from companies, they buy from people!

What a fantastic fast service and at an affordable price,I got 2 pairs of glasses for £150. I visited my local branch in Uxbridge and I was served by Raul, he customer service was 💯 % and gave me honest advice. I will be purchasing all my spectacles from Pop Specs from now on, I definitely will be recommending my friends and family to get their glasses from Raul in Uxbridge he is an asset to the company. Thank you again…a very happy customer.

I honestly didn’t expect to walk away with two new pairs of glasses today - but then I found Pop Specs! I was initially drawn in by the bright colours and the unique design of their new pod spot in Cramlington. Then I noticed the frames — so diverse and different from the “usual” styles!

I had the pleasure of the owners (Dan and Lina) helping me. They were just lovely, super friendly people — warm, welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Their expert advice made all the biggest difference. They helped me choose frames that suited my face shape, hair colour, and skin tone perfectly.

Two days ago, I purchased one pair of glasses from another company which cost more than the TWO stunning pairs I picked up today at Pop Specs (and that price didn’t include anti reflection or thinning!). At Pop Specs, all frames are £75 — this price includes lenses and anti-reflective coating at no extra cost. I only paid £20 more to have the lenses thinned, and both pairs were ready IN 20 MINUTES!

I’ve already recommended Pop Specs to everyone I know — and I highly, highly recommend them to anyone looking for a fantastic, personalised service, stylish frames, and unbeatable value. Thank you Dan and Lina!

Was served by the lovely and stylish lady Sunita today at the Nottingham, Victoria centre branch, very friendly and chatty, helped and advised me on getting the perfect pair, looking forward to collecting them soon.

I had purchased new glasses in November 2024 from the Glasgow, Silverburn store and had amazing service from Miranda and was very happy. I’m May this year I had a problem with on of the legs of my glasses which Cormack fixed very promptly. However a similar issue arose today and I went straight back to be greeted by Will. He was so lovely and extremely helpful. He advised me the best way forward was to get a completely new frame so the issue wouldn’t arise again, which of course I was happy to do at no extra cost to me. My new glasses were ready in 20 minutes.
I would 100% recommend Pop Specs especially for their fast, efficient and very friendly service (Will in particular). They have a fantastic range of frames to choose from and their aftercare is exceptional.

This is the second time I've purchased glasses here at the Norwich branch. The first time was for my wife. I was helped by Abbi and Lucia, they were both fantastic and really helped when picking the right frames. The second time was for myself. I was helped again by Abbi who was brilliant, she picked out some frames that she thought suited my face shape and that went with my aesthetic. The range of glasses were great so good infact that I bought 2 pairs! Abbi had these ready for me by the time it took me to grab a coffee. Definitely recommend!

I had a great initial consultation at this spectacle shop — friendly and welcoming customer service that made a strong first impression. The frames are definitely funkier and more unique than what you'd typically find on the high street, which is a plus if you're after something a bit different.

However, the experience soured when I encountered issues afterwards. The staff were noticeably less friendly — almost irritated — when I asked about a refund or raised concerns. The level of professionalism and aftercare simply didn't meet expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend them based on that.

Also worth noting: polarised lenses here are significantly more expensive than at regular high street opticians, without a clear justification for the price difference.
