So the first number I tried is in France.
Apparently this service can't be used to call French numbers.
Nowhere on the site is there a list of countries that you CAN call.

I found the company office, it's just a small house 30 yards from a "Jack in the box" fast food joint.

Perhaps like Mr Hewlett and Packard they are invigorating the internet from the Garage. Or.... Maybe not.

A front for some other dodgy company? Perhaps, who knows.

They don't file US IRS returns...

I called from my laptop in the UK to a landline in Italy and it worked perfectly. No need to login or register or anything! It was only a short call and I had no issues.

They claim to offer free time-limited internet calls to mobile and landline phones because a portion of our users decide to make an account with us and pay us for their international calling needs".

And yet any attempt to make a call prompts you to pick a paid plan or up your balance. If they ever had free calls, they seem to be gone now. Whether this is a temporary issue or permanent, it's extremely suspect.

The “Login with Facebook” button doesn't work. It states that the OAuth integration is still in development mode.

Additionally, I'd like to be able to append ?+12-1234-123456 to the URI to programmatically fill the telephone number field, since linkr.bio doesn't support tel: URIs, so being able to direct users to an autofilled version of this page would be brilliant. However, this isn't available.

In fact, I've not received any response when enquiring about either problem.

i subscribed to basic plan 10$/month. they withdraw money twice. Then i started to do some calls, none connected, and on second day they blocked my account, and not answering my emails

I got a network error each time I tried to call (called same country, my cell reception at home isn't strong), or the line would end up disconnecting when it did call through, bUT thended wouldnt alow any more free calls. Paid a membership to try to use, but still couldn't dial out due to network error, or said the number wasn't valid (which it is because I've called it many times nbefore).... Only reason I gave the extra star is because I got busy and the 2nd month payment went out but I had wanted to cancel, I reached out via email, and the next day I was responded to and got my refund back the day after.

I tried Poptox in Mexico and it wasn't able to complete the call, advising me to use Numlookup.com. Numlookup thought I was in Bangladesh and advised I use another site. I don't think this is a scam, just a very young, not ready for prime time service.

This is NOT free as they say, expect you to pay, but it only works on an o2 network

They blocked the account after 10 dials. Sent them an email but never heard back. Total waste of time and money!

Wrost service. Already i was purchased 2 times basic plan unlimited calls 10$. They are 2 times blockd my account for commercial use. And refund not get till now. And they mailed to me, already paid. But i didn't get money. And voice quality not good. I don't recommend this site for ip calls.
