Potato Parcel Avis 4

I ordered the Valentines Day package on 1/27 with and chose the expected delivery date of 2/11 (I had seen on other reviews they ran late and wanted to ensure it arrived on our before valentine's day). On 2/10, I sent an email asking about my delivery date and never recieved a response. On 2/11, I was notified it had shipped. I tracked it through 2/14. USPS tracking advised it was "pre shipped" and they were waiting on sender. I sent another email on 2/14 asking when it would actually ship. Tracking updated me that it would be delivered 2/17. I also finally received a response on 2/17 from potato parcel that I had selected 2/11 as the "ship date" not the "delivery date". That is not the case, when ordering their website says "delivery date". Also, the valentine's day package included a stuffed animal, potato, card and box of chocolates. I specifically chose that package because the stuffed animal could be kept for a memory. The price was about $40. A total of about $52 with shipping etc. My delivery finally came today and it was a box of 4 chocolates, a card with flamingos all over it (nothing v day related) and no stuffed animal. I went on their website and they removed the option with the stuffed animal and decreased the price by about $10. Just a crappy experience.

SCAM ALERT! Terrible terrible terrible experience with the best gift ever aka potato parcel. I placed my order on December 14 with an expected arrival date of December 19. this was a Christmas gift. December 19 came and went with nothing changing. I sent them a message and replied back 2 days later saying it's definitely shipped and should arrive by December 22. Keep in mind ups tracking never changed and the status on their website has never changed. I replied back same day saying thank you, this a gift etc. December 22 comes and goes and still no package. I email them again December 22. Once again they reply back 2 days later saying ups has lost this package. We're very sorry. Keep in mind once again, ups tracking never change or says they even had possession of the package and their own online store still says processing. I reply back asking how ups lost it if tracking shows they never received it and your website still saying in processing? And can I just get a full refund at this point? No reply, 3 days later I email again, no reply, 2 days later I email again, no reply. It is now jan 3 2026, and still have not received a reply from them. I started a charge back with amex to get my money back. This site is a SCAM with terrible customer service.

I ordered potato parcel as a funny gift for someone. It was delivered late and without the picture I requested on the potato. A terrible experience overall with the company.

Ordered for Valentine's day a month in advance, with a specified delivery window of 11-14 February. Considering the extensive lead time and shipping cost, I would have expected it to have arrived within that window. So consider me shocked when, checking my mail on March 1st, having almost forgotten I'd ever ordered this, I saw a box from the Best Gift Ever!

Potato was exactly as expected, and the pop-up card was nice once I unstuck all the pleats and layers. The box of four chocolates they sent (yes, four, in a ~$35 package) were cheap, old (chalky exterior), and largely unpleasant.

Considering the obvious cost-cutting measures in selecting the worst candy possible, the unforgivable shipping delays, and complete lack of any communication regarding said delays, I would not recommend this company.
