Powell Design & Construction Ltd Avis

Having Alexandra's consultation on a recent residential remodelling project has helped me increase the value of a recent property development. Within a few minutes, Alexandra was able to see right to the problem I was facing with the building footprint and share both her valuable experience as an architect and her practical experience as a mum and someone who has clearly created family-friendly spaces many times. She turned a problem area into something I'm excited about - I can't wait to show off this modern, practical yet desirable family home. And more importantly, to sell it with the added uplift in price!

I've had the pleasure of working with Alexandra on and off for many years. I have always admired her ambition, hard work and attention to detail in both her architecture career and now as a property developer. She always strives for the best, is a great team member and also, makes a great cake! Highly recommended.

Knowledgable, efficient and helpful. Removed rear extension and moved drains, work done efficiently, adapted plans when drains were not how origionally thought. Job well done, would use again.

Good company to work with. Offer honest approach and attention to detail.

Richard looks after each job as if it was his own home. He is hardworking and very creative in finding solutions to problems that I was struggling with.

Richard and his wife Alexandra ensure projects keep pushing forward in a timely manner without compromising quality.

Alexandra even helped me find my next investment property - and of course, I have asked Richard to look after this one too!

Excellent quality work and communication throughout the project. Very happy with the end result and will happily use again.

Alexandra was great and provided me with a thorough breakdown of all conditions within the house. Alexandra also sent images through to back up info provided. Highly recommended!

Richard did a service on my solar panels and fixed a faulty regulator, he also replaced my heating thermostats last year, his workmanship & attention to detail are second to none. Alexandra is very helpful with information. I wish I needed her Architectural services as I love all her designs & ideas! Highly recommend their services.

Almost 12 months ago Richard came over to do a boiler service & Nest thermostat installation for me. Arrived on time and got the job done much faster than I expected. All relevant paperwork completed swiftly and all has worked perfectly since. He was very patient explaining how to use the Nest thermostat. Excellent service and I will soon be getting in touch for this year's boiler service too.
I have known Richard a long time and he has always been professional and fastidious with his work (very much the perfectionist). He saved me from freezing one winter by coming out at very short notice to replace my boiler. Always happy to give advice in easy to understand language.

It was late at night and We didn't have any hot water while my flatmate was showering. I called Richard from Powell Design & Construction and he immediately sorted it for me and we then had hot water again!

After an extremely informative and valuable discussion with Alexandra, we are very much looking forward to working with them in the future. Their track record speaks for itself and past projects display a quality of work of the highest level. Highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Powell Design & Construction. Alexandra is highly professional and efficient, I am very pleased to have found them, the quality of the work is excellent.

A very friendly service on another quality project. Top job, thankyou very much.

As a property investor / developer I appreciate that building contractors are a huge 'risk element' to our business. I am very grateful to have discovered Powell Design & Construction because they reduce this significantly by going above and beyond. It has been really refreshing to work with an excellent team that are ethical, honest and have superb communication skills. I look forward to working with them again.

We have used this company to quote and consult on some potential purchases and are now nearing completion of a full refurbishment of an investment property. We found their professionalism, communication standard of work and flexibility excellent. Their upfront explanations are clear, they have adapted to budget and our needs, saved where possible and will likely comolete ahead of schedule, in challenging times where supply chains and tradesman challenges exist in the market. Any hurdles have been overcome with their expertise, network and planning ahead. Cant recommend them highly enough to landlords, investors, construction or build project companies or individuals.
