Trying to transfer service to my new home in the PPL service market. Been on hold for 55 minutes, no human interaction yet. I would give anything to speak with a human. Website says I have to call and that it can't be completed online due to solar panels. well, then, help me! Please answer!

I can’t praise the workers who showed up Thursday 5/1/25, to McGuire Park Drive, Bloomsburg, to investigate our sudden power outage. Polite and courteous, yes, but the fact that only a small number of homes were affected, and they arrived in about 1/2 hour, from reporting it, just amazes me ! And in 2 hours, the power was restored. We all hear about the bad experience but I wanted to share a great one ! Thank-you !

Absolutely appalling customer service .
They make every attempt to not let you speak to custom service and you end up fighting with their stupid AI to get to speak to human being . After 5 min of asking to speak to a representative and AI replying “ I don’t understand “.
Then you’re on hold for 45 minutes to ask a rep why am I getting call from PPL one (1) day after the due date . ONE day after !
This is the most horrible company and I wish Pa had other options . This company would go broke if people had other choices .

It took a while to get to the costumer service here in PENNSYLVANIA, however there is this professional called Hellen, she was amazing! gave me an incredible assistance and all the information that i needed and encouraged me to choose whatever is bet for me. She is definitely a top 5 employee!
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Every time you call they have you on hold at least 30 minutes before they answer. 3 times I had to hang up because after a 40 minute wait was still on hold. PPL, how about learning about real customer service and part with some of your big profits and hire reputable and extra personnel to help customers. I ended up not switching to PPL as my supplier because I couldn't get any one on the line.

The company lied to me for over 24 hrs…
The company lied to me for over 24 hrs that someone would be out to fix the electric problem. I told them exactly what was wrong and they kept telling me somoeone would be there with in 1-2 hors. at 9pm on Friday night they said the repairs were suspended. No one came until 8:50am on Monday morning. The 2nd transformer was exactly what I told them was wrong. It was right outside the house. They could have much better customer service, training and customer communication.
Trying to keep my Security Deposit

I have been told 2 different things regarding my security deposit. First I was told I could get my security deposit back in February. Now after speaking with someone today, I was told that I don't get it back and I was told incorrect information . The supervisors refused to get on the line No way this company going to keep my money when I pay over 500 monthly for bills. You all need to do like me start reaching out to the CEO. If we flood his email enough he will look into the company he represents.

Pp&l is the worst and most expensive company I’ve ever had, just got my bill for the month and it’s $500 , last month was $250. Tried to call numerous times with a wait time of 30 minutes that I gave up after an hour and a half. Just bought a house in the poor part of Columbia city and my Morgage is $2300, my gas is $250, and electric is now $500, water is 61, trash is $30. That’s not counting my truck payment insurance , food, etc… I’m gonna lose everything because of corporate greed, no way my electric doubled I haven’t changed anything and my heat is gas which is turned way low so I can afford the bill. They make getting ahold of them so hard because they just want you to pay it, they also charged me a $130 fee for delivering the electric🤣 wtf is going on in this world. I’m looking for a new company.

I genuinely don't understand how a company who seems to thrive on incompetencey has been in business this long. For months now my account is considered a contractor instead of a Tennant this means I can't pay my bill. Now if this was a company with an above room temp IQ this wouldn't be a problem, however this is ppl we're dealing with so of course there's a problem. Apperantly their "customer service" is unable to fix my account or direct me to someone who can figure it out. Also their customer service is only available Monday through Friday during business hours. You're a power company you can't afford at minimum a weekend call center? I have lived in 4 states and 6 military bases the fact that ppl is not only the worst power company I've dealt with it's not even close. At what point does incompetencey end and criminality begin?

This is a bad company, just a slight breeze and the power is out. Every single time there’s even a simple thunderstorm I’m paranoid the power is going to go out. I don’t know what they’re doing over there at PPL but it’s not the real deal. I don’t understand why they can’t just use underground wires.

At least 1 outage and 3 to 4 power glitches a month. problem areas with the same overhanging trees still go untrimmed. 3 to 4 PPL trucks parked at "Lena's" on Rt. 652 having whatever are there while there are people without power. The WORST power grid and management in the northeast!!!!

If I could give 0 stars ,I would. I am now on day 3 w/out power. Not a single lineman in site,not one PPLservice truck. Not one subcontractor service truck. Nobody around !!! Drove on every road within a 10 mile radius,nothing. By now everything in refrigerator and in our freezer is ruined. The PUC should fine this company and distribute that money to all us who suffer from their lack of service.

PPL has changed so much for the worse. Customer service is terrible now—rude and disrespectful. Some representatives don’t even speak English well, which makes me wonder if the service is outsourced from another country, like China.
I have always been a customer of PPL, my electric provider, and have made all my payments on time. However, this year, I faced some financial hardships and struggled to pay two of my bills. As a result, they have now restricted my payment options to cash only, refusing to allow me to pay using my bank account. They don’t even make an effort to work with you.
If you ask to speak with a supervisor, you’ll have to leave your phone number for them to call you back. If, for any reason, you miss their call, they will accuse you of not wanting to take their call.
I plan to report this situation to the appropriate authorities.
