I’ve been using Privacy.com for nearly a year, and it has become one of the most valuable tools in how I manage my online spending and subscriptions. The ability to generate dedicated virtual cards for each vendor — with custom spending limits per charge or per month — gives me complete control over my finances and eliminates the risk of unexpected or unauthorized transactions. If a vendor ever tries to overcharge or bill outside the agreed amount, the transaction is automatically blocked.

Creating and managing cards is incredibly straightforward. The interface is clean, intuitive, and makes it effortless to maintain separate cards for shopping, recurring subscriptions, or one-time purchases. You don’t have to give you banking information to anyone just use cards from privacy. Work exactly like a bank. I put on my subscription with them.

Privacy.com is a great service for secure payments. It gives me peace of mind knowing that the use of a virtual credit card is limited by vendor and/or dollar amounts. I've been using it for about a year, and it's worked very well!

Useful in many situations and have helped charge back disputed charges.

With all of the unauthorized charge attempts and the sites that want to automatically sign you up for an ongoing monthly charge, it is nice to have a place where I can limit my liability and stop overcharging and additional fake charges.

Excellent app! It's allowed me to make payments and forget about these websites continuing to charge unwanted subscriptions or monthly fees. The only thing I'd like is the option to delete cards that are only used once.

The Privacy service is an insanely good deal. The ability to create temporary, one time use credit card for online purchases is a no brainer. The site is easy to use. The browser plugin is easy to use. I'll never buy online without a privacy card again.

I can't count how many times I get a notification that a purchase was made without my consent, people stealing and reading your cards without your permission, shameless!
With privacy i can easily cancel a digital card and create a new one, and i dont have to worry about my Bank account being drained or the headache of calling a credit card company to dispute a charge.

Privacy.com has been a game changer for me. The ability to set limits on charge amounts, dedicate cards to certain stores and close out cards as needed makes my on-line charge life feel secure.

In the past I had made a purchase from a supplier, used privacy.com for my card, and set my spend amount to enough to cover the charge, once monthly. Little did I know, after I made the purchase, the supplier, tried to charge me for the next 3-months all at once. Having the card set with a specific amount and only able to be used once per month, prevented any charges from going through. I use for all on-line shopping now.

Privacy.com one-time use/spend limit virtual card numbers are invaluable for my online purchases, particularly with unfamiliar businesses. They have saved me several times from fraudulent charges. They do their job! Customer service replied quickly to answer a question I submitted. I am extremely satisfied with Privacy.com.

I researched their site about the benefits and privacy of using their services to create virtual debit cards. What attracted me was their free service, not reporting to credit card agencies, they collected the merchant transactions fees and did not require my SSN. They connect the account to my bank account and I was in control of my privacy, could control and protect myself from free trial scams and hidden subscriptions BUT after connecting my Bank Account through Plaid there was the Agreement that was needed to start service.

Boom. In order to sign up with their service I would have to open a credit card account with Patriot Bank which is required to notify credit card agencies and get listed as a creditor.
BAIT and SWITCH.
All Privacy.com had to say clearly on their carpetbagging website that in order to use their service the User had to open up a Credit Card or Bank Account with Patriot Bank and I would not of provided them with any personal information and ignored their offer of services and not wasted my time with them.
Beware the sneaky Agreement at the end.
I canceled the connection through Plaid and it was done immediately which was very good.
If you want a credit card from a Bank and virtual debit cards to protect your privacy and from subscription scams Privacy.com might work for you but not me.

Using these cards is pretty convenient. I feel more secure using privacy cards online instead of regular bank cards. 12 free privacy cards per month is plenty for me.

I was looking for a service to get virtual numbers to protect myself from all the database breaches . I found privacy.com and it does so with a pretty decent free tier(12 cards a month).

Privacy.com has an excellent interface that makes everything easy to use. It's the best way to keep your credit card info safe from sites you don't 100% trust.

I appreciate Privacy's communication and forward-thinking approach to the privacy issue. After using my credit card to buy a pressure washer from an independent retailer, and seeing suggestions from Amazon that same day for pressure washer accessories, I use Privacy now more than ever, and was very excited to see the everywhere card tool.
