On behalf of my neighbour who used this guy very good expert company
there roof leaked into mine and now both sides are good, heavy rain and wind last night

Found this company offering a fixed price solution. Was initially sceptical as others were giving a price range, after a quick explanation it was easy to understand that any roofer with the correct knowledge knows the potentials of a leak in each area of the roof (best and worse case scenarios) so a fixed fee makes sense as some require a little more and some a little less. It gave me great peace of mind that I had a fixed fee instead of being given a bill at the end. I’ve had other trades gives potential coatings in the past and it often goes a bit over the higher side. Was carried out as stated without any further complications. For me I had a chimney leak which could only be one or more of the following, flash repairs, cement works, the sheet under the tiles or the tiles in and around the area. With mine it turned out to be a combination of all and no extra charge was added. Highly recommend using this company and if I am unfortunate enough to have roof issues again there is only one place to go. Well done to you for such an all round amazing service.

Could not ask for a better service! No nonsense from start to finish, competitive price in comparison and no up selling as many seem to in construction. Refreshing to find someone with such integrity, made it easy for me to understand as like many I know nothing about roofs. I personally feel these guys take something complicated and make it simple. Extremely Unprofessional and Incompetent Roofer - DO NOT TRUST!

I had the unfortunate experience of hiring Sean from gumtree.com to fix a roof leakage in my room. His ad claimed expertise in resolving all types of roof leakages for a reasonable fee. However, my encounter with him turned into an absolute nightmare.

Initially, Sean asked for a £25 deposit, promising to assess and repair the leakage and payment of the balance after completion. He arrived and claimed to have repaired the roof, even taking pictures as proof. However, it was evident that his work was subpar, as he had not properly sealed the hole.

Despite my concerns, Sean insisted that the roof was fixed and assured me that if there were any further leaks, he would return to repair them. Unfortunately, the very next day it rained, and the leaks were still present. I attempted to contact Sean, but he conveniently ignored my calls and only responded in a dismissive manner later on.

After a week, Sean had the audacity to suggest that the problem may be originating from a neighboring property, completely disregarding the fact that I had already thoroughly checked and found no evidence of any leakage from there. This was clearly an attempt to absolve himself of any responsibility.

I expressed my disappointment to Sean, emphasizing the fact that I had paid him in full for a job poorly done. As a so-called professional roofer, I expected him to fully resolve the issue as agreed upon, not shift blame to others. It is clear that he did not seal the holes properly.

I requested that he revisit my property for a comprehensive inspection and to identify the actual source of the ongoing leakage. However, his response was nothing short of an excuse to avoid accountability and further work. He insisted that I should contact my neighbor and claimed that water was channeling from a separate area, which he conveniently omitted from our initial agreement. This was clearly an attempt to avoid providing a proper solution.

To make matters worse, the leakage has now spread to another corner of my room, causing significant damage. It is abundantly clear that Sean not only failed to fix the initial problem but actually worsened the situation. He took advantage of the situation, took my money, and disappeared without resolving the issue.

I am utterly disgusted by Sean's unprofessionalism, lack of integrity, and complete disregard for his customers. It is my duty to warn others about his incompetence and dishonesty. I strongly advise against hiring him for any roofing services, as you will likely end up wasting your hard-earned money while your problem remains unresolved or even worsens.

In summary, Sean's workmanship was of extremely low quality and his lack of responsibility and accountability is unacceptable. Save yourself the trouble, frustration, and financial loss by avoiding him at all costs.
