Terrible Experience with Provider.lk – Avoid at All Costs!
I’ve had the worst experience with Provider.lk. Despite paying the renewal fee for my hosting service, they terminated my account and wiped all my data because of a minor delay. All of my data is non-recoverable! I’ve reached out to request a refund since I’m not getting any service, but their response has been less than helpful.
Their terms are rigid and unfair. They’re quick to suspend and terminate your account without giving you a chance to fix things. And now they refuse to refund my payment for a service I can’t even use anymore!
If you value your data and your sanity, stay far away from Provider.lk. They’re more interested in squeezing money out of you than providing a decent service. Absolutely unacceptable and disappointing. Never again!

We’re sorry to hear about your frustration, but this review leaves out key details.
The service was terminated due to non-payment after the 7-day grace period, in accordance with our clearly stated billing terms. Despite multiple email and SMS reminders sent before and after the invoice became overdue, you didn't make the payment. Please note that the termination only occurs when these notices are not acted upon.
We cannot retain unpaid services or customer data indefinitely. Data removal after termination is standard and clearly communicated in our terms. At that point, we can only create a new service from scratch, and any previously paid amounts cannot be refunded, as stated in our terms.
We wish you the best moving forward and are happy to assist within the scope of our terms.
Beware: Unprofessional Service and Unresolved Issues with Provider.lk
I strongly advise against using Provider.lk for your hosting needs. My experience with them has been frustrating and unprofessional, with unresolved technical issues, unresponsive support, and unethical behavior including blocking communication and denying refunds. My website was down for over a week due to their server issues, and instead of providing solutions, they threatened to terminate my account. Save yourself the trouble and choose a more reliable hosting provider.

You requested our support for an upload issue without any details, and our team asked for the necessary information to properly investigate the issue. Instead of providing those details, communication became abusive toward our support staff, including:
“Do you think I don't any other work than playing with you?"
"I have explained everything like explaining to a baby.”
"You need to prove what is wrong, I will have to go for a legal action."
Such language toward our support staff violates our acceptable use and support policies.
The original behavior was caused by ModSecurity rules blocking requests due to detected vulnerabilities as we explained to you with the logs. For security reasons, we cannot disable these protections, as they safeguard the server and other customers. It’s inaccurate to claim the issues were unresolved when the only behavior demonstrated was repeated abuse and unprofessional conduct towards us, without taking steps to address the underlying vulnerability or use FTP as per our recommended workaround.
Following this, a refund was demanded alongside a threat and many other verbal abuses. As clearly stated in our terms, refunds cannot be issued in cases involving abuse or policy violations;
"If you threaten us once again, you will end up being listed in fraudrecord.com and banned."
Due to repeated abusive behavior, and after multiple reminders and opportunities to resolve the matter respectfully, we were forced to close your account and terminate the services.
We remain committed to helping customers resolve issues professionally and fairly, provided communication is respectful and within policy.

Best web hosting provider in Sri Lanka. Their cloud hosting is based in Singapore and the hosted websites are super fast. I've never had any downtime or any issue with the support.

Best uptime
My interaction with customer support has always been great. Service uptime has always been great and the best I have seen from a provider in Sri Lanka. The only issue I have experienced recently was an outage due to MySQL which was due to a bug of system dependency.

Best hosting company in Sri Lanka
I'm using provider.lk for my primary hosting requirements from 2015. They have always been helpful and clear on the path to resolve an issue whenever there was something. There is so much hate towards provider.lk from competitors based on my interaction with many other Sri Lankan hosting services, this is mainly due to unbeatable prices and performance provided by provider.lk. If anyone has a requirement of getting best cost-performance ratio, provider.lk is the best place. If you just need support to do everything for you, provider.lk might not be the best place for you.
