ITS A SCAM!! You don’t pay a month to month subscription it’s all yearly regardless of the plan you choose. And you can generate real free QR codes using Canva. I made a mistake purchase the product and asked for a refund immediately. They took a week to get back to me and said “No, you cannot receive a refund” I had to dispute my credit card to get my money back. They’ll just scam you out of your money! Never choose them!

the advertising said free
the advertising said free, to my surprise that was only a free trial. Plan option said 11.51 a month so I thought okay I'll do it for a few months to use it for an event im planning then cancel, I then checked my account $212 taken out because apparently they take out an annual payment that's robbery. The way it displays the payment process was very vague so i couldn't even see what it was actually charging until i checked my account. As soon as I realized what they changed me I canceled immediately (less than and hour) and asked for a refund. The online chat was also incredibly vague and not helpful what so ever when I asked for cancelation and refund it says we'll process your request allow at least 3 business days. Email with ticket number comes through then nothing for 5 days so I send an inquiry at that point an email comes through that they will cancel my account but no refund will be issued. When I try to inquire further they send a blank email with a ticket number. I am still incredibly upset by this I won't even use it for the year I paid for just because I refuse to support or promote this " business " when people come in to my business and ask what service I use they will be warned about this service and recommend to a much better one that is way more cost effective and actually has a way better selection. And only cost $45 for lifetime use.

They are not transparent about their…
They are not transparent about their fee structure, I did not realize it was a yearly cost and not monthly. You also cannot easily check what codes you had on it from the free version. So I purchased for a month but got charged for a year and they refused to refund any of it. Very shady and not professional.

Was advertised as free, there was no mention of a subscription until I got an email saying I had to pay them over $100 or they would deactivate the QR code- you can make QR codes entirely for free.
Their response is horrid. When you look up the site, it comes up as "Free QR Code Generator". I don't know how they're allowed to stay active with such horrible business practices.
They are once again lying with their response. There is 0 mention of the QR code needing to be paid for, I even went back through (with the title of the website still LITERALLY being "Free QR Code Generator") and it automatically takes you to create a code, never once mentioning that there will be a need to pay. I cannot pay your annual +$100 fee and would have never touched your website had I known it required payment. This is clearly a universal experience. I sent out my invites with those codes and got an email 2 days later saying my QR codes were being held ransom. Good thing I can just make an event group and give people my registry link through that instead of being strong-armed to pay for one link when QR codes never require payments in the first place.

I'm a film student and have asked a gfx student to design the booklet for our screenings. We have 400 of them. My gfx student used these people to create the QR code - an honest mistake (she is learning as am I) because the code expired in a week!! We now have all these booklets with a useless code on it. THEY WILL NOT RESPOND to emails, except to say I have to pay £120 to get the code reinstated! ONE QR CODE!! That's just not possible, we just do not have that budget! Really upset about this.

SCAM..Poor Service. Scamster. Avoid in all cases
I wish I could give them negative stars. It is a scam. We were looking to create a QR for my kids school project. We thought it was free. Then came a monthly plan, we looked to enroll just to cover the duration for her project presentation, next thing I know they charged us for a month. We contact them within 2 min, and it took them 5 days to tell me that it will be unfair for other users and that they have to charge me for an year.

I have contacted your support ( so called) takes you 3-4 days to reply, chat doesn't work, no calling function. And it is useless anyways. Any other sensible genuine business with honor and refund. I stay with my view that this business is scam because you are looting people with wrong information as comfirmed by other people here as well.
Update after business engaged me with.
It is a SCAM, please save your money and I wish there was a way to report them for malpractice. They claim to fair to all customers which is just there way of saying we managed to fool more people.

This company is a complete scam that uses bait and switch tactics. I hope this company flops honestly.
The link to the website says" free QR codes. No expiration" but in really the expiration ends about a week after the QR code is made and you have to pay an annual fee of 130 dollars (the lowest offer). Which is an incredibly steep price for just a QR code.
I was lucky enough to stop the production of my business cards just in time. But I'm sure many people didn't get that luxury.
