As an accounting platform for a small business this has everything needed plus it free to use. I used to use Quickbooks online but have switched to Quickfile and so far have no complaints.

Easy to use and lots of guidance when you’re unsure of something. For a small fee you can link to bank feed making it even more straightforward.

The main point is simple: It's easy to use! You can tag invoices, follow services, it's organised. Definitely recommended!

Interface is quite good but charges were suddenly introduced for MTD without any warning or email. It makes you wonder what other charges will be introduced in the future without warning.

As a small business not currently doing much trade, I can't afford to pay for expensive accounting software. With QuickFile, I don't need to. It's free and for someone who has never used accounting software before, it was really easy to set up and use. It's a great tool and does everything I need

Great peace of free software for business. There is a fairly steep learning curve but once you learn your way around it becomes second nature and does everything a small business would need at the free level

Great portal for new businesses that are starting up. The free VAT return capability and HMRC connection work well. With the new rules on tax returns this is going to play a greater role..

Great platform. I use it for multiple businesses - it’s easy to use, easy to understand, and the community/knowledge-base is great. We also use the API which is great.

We first moved to QuickFile back when 'Making Tax Digital' was made compulsory for VAT. The product offering was perfect for a small business such as ours and simplified our accounting beyond what we had expected. Now that 'Making Tax Digital' is being made compulsory for more organisations and individuals, I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a economical (maybe free), but fully featured solution.

I use various accounting software, most of which must be paid for. As a small business, this adds up and they often, they are far to complicated for everyday use. I've used Quickfile for over a year now, and is easy, straight forward and does the job.
