Do not trust Rabbit Tech.

Having owned an R1 for about a week or so now, I can wholeheartedly say this has been one big scam from start to finish.

DO NOT BUY THIS DEVICE! It offers nothing at all, stumbles over Captchas, has my location wrong by about 250 miles and has less functionality than a mid range phone.

Keinerlei Support. Gerät ist kaputt, ich warte nicht nur einen Monat auf eine Antwort, sondern warte jetzt auch schon einen Monat auf ein Rücksendeetikett! Nicht Mal ein Ersatzprodukt, sondern wirklich nur auf die Möglichkeit es zurückzusenden. Das ist so lächerlich und unprofessionell.

I've been waiting for a refund from a Rabbit R1 since April. It's not acceptable. Martin from Customer support kept saying that they are working on it, but no response whatsoever, and other's from the CS team don't even reply.

Disappointing Experience – Promising Device, Poor Support

I've used the Rabbit R1 for over six months and truly wanted to love this device. While the concept is innovative and was initially valuable to my daily routine, the reality has been a letdown.

My unit has suffered from constant battery drain, random shutdowns, charging issues, and even hardware faults like rattling screws. Despite reaching out to Rabbit support numerous times, I’ve mostly received delayed responses and generic apologies, but no real solutions. My device is now completely unusable, and I have yet to be offered a repair, replacement, or refund.

As a customer success professional, I find the lack of action and responsibility from Rabbit extremely disappointing. For a product at this price point, I expected much better reliability and after-sales support.

I hope Rabbit improves both its product quality and customer service. Until then, I cannot recommend the R1.

I've been waiting for over a month to…

I've been waiting for over a month to have my R1 replaced. They keep apologizing for the wait, yet do nothing about it. I had to wait a week before I even heard from the support team and I'm pretty sure the only reason they responded was because of the BBB report I filed.

The device stopped working and wouldn't…

The device stopped working and wouldn't update. I reached out to support and was told by the support person Martin that "he would go ahead and order a replacement." Then it turned into, I'm waiting to hear back and need more time. Then it was I heard back but the information was inaccurate so I'm waiting to hear back again and just need more time. This went on for a few weeks until it became no response and all. I'm left with an red brick that doesn't work. Don't waste your time or money. It's a total scam!

Well

My son who is autistic and has a brain injury ordered one of these devices when they launched they happily took his money he was extremely excited about getting this as it could help him with his autism and brain injury in several ways months passed he was keeping told it's coming it's it's coming then after having his money for three to four months in getting him all excited he was told sorry we can't send it to you because you're in New Zealand and we don't ship there. Tim my son was broken he was so excited and then after mucking him round they say sorry can't ship to you here's your money back . They then promised as soon as they shipped to nz they would let him know and send him a free device to make up for all the mucking around . We'll that never happened . Lies all lies . Shame on you . NEVER LIE TO SOMEONE AND MAKE PROMISES YOU CANT KEEP TO ANYONE LET ALONE AN AUTISTIC PERSON . GRRR

Feels like a scam

I've purchased this what initially was touted as "THE THING".
After playing with it, I've got to the conclusion that it's simply not worth it.
The "Ai" is sloppy, makes mistakes like misunderstanding the command and more often than not, the information given is patently false.

The response time is abysmal. From giving a simple command like "Tell me how tall the Eifell Tower is" to getting an answer, you can wait up to 15 seconds.
When pictures are involved, you need the patience of a saint.

I was very excited about the advertised features like order an Uber and order food, only to realise that 4 out of 6 features are being "retired soon".

Without the ability to connect to apps and use them with my voice, this thing is absolutely useless... nothing that your Siri or Bixby can't do already (and much better and faster).

It was heavily advertised, to con people into buying it and now that people have purchased it and they got their money, the slowly walk away from it dragging bags of money, or at least that's how it looks to me for retiring Uber, Doordash, Midjourney and Suno, without replacing them with anything similar or literally anything else.

One of the most expensive paper weight I've ever purchased :(

I bought this gadget and had to send it…

I bought this gadget and had to send it back. It is not worth it. It took a month for them to issue the refund after receiving the item back and I had to chase the company to get it. The presentation given about the product IS MISLEADING. The R1 was not what is advertised. They gave a refund and deducted the shipping cost of the label they provided despite the item not being as advertised

They collected - but didn't refund! SCAM

Was not satisfied based on early reviews, so I contacted the company, and they organized a return of the Rabbit r1. But I never got a refund. I spoke to them, and they always respond to the first message, but then never issue a refund or explanation. I've had several people on the team promise to get onto it, but then they say "I'm not sure where it is" (even though they organized the return). I've reported to my credit card company.

You cant delete your account

DONT MAKE AN ACCOUNT! You can’t delete it again and when you email them you either don’t get a response or they don’t answer your questions but answer with some total irrelevant information.
I think they have a bot that answer their emails and it’s as bad as their AI

ITS Just a scam, they also hired someone to edit wikipedia, another examples of why you shouldn't Trust in one source on the Internet, anybody with malicious intend can edit anything in wikipedia

Achtung. Keinerlei Support per email oder sonstwie. Habe Paypal zur Unterstützung eingeschaltet um mein Geld zurück zu bekommen.
Update:
Nach 9 Tagen, diesem Post und Einschalten von Paypal wurde mir der Betrag wieder gutgeschrieben.
