RadarShield designs radar detectors that help drivers stay aware and drive with confidence. Our lineup includes The Ghost and The Ghost Pro, both detecting X, K, and Ka band signals, built to be simple to set up and easy to use every day. We sell exclusively through radarshield.com and our official Amazon store. Any other storefront using the RadarShield name is not affiliated with us. All radar detectors are illegal in…

All radar detectors are illegal in Australia.
This company is misleading saying they are legal......
The fines are 7 demerit points and up to $1200 fine.
The police can also know if you have one in your car from some of their radar cameras.

Dont be fooled

Hi Rod White,

Thank you for taking the time to share this, and for raising an important point. You’re right that radar detectors are not permitted for use in Australia, and we’d always encourage drivers to follow the laws where they live.

We’d like to reassure you that RadarShield does not claim our products are legal everywhere. Because regulations differ by country and state, we have a dedicated Laws by State page on our website (https://radarshield.com/pages/radar-detector-laws-by-state) that sets out where radar detector use is and isn’t permitted. We encourage every customer to check it, along with their local regulations, before buying or using a detector.

We take legal compliance very seriously and work hard to make sure our information is clear and accurate. If there’s a specific page or statement on our website that gave you a different impression, we’d genuinely welcome the chance to review it. Please reach out to us at support@radarshield.com so we can look into it.

Kind regards,
The RadarShield Team

Hi Paul,

Thank you for your feedback, and we’re sorry the setup experience left you frustrated. That’s not what we want for any of our customers.

To make getting started as easy as possible, we have two resources on our website that walk through everything step by step:

Unboxing and setup guide: https://radarshield.com/pages/unboxing-setup-guide
Full user manual: https://radarshield.com/pages/user-manual

If anything in these is unclear, or you’d like a hand getting your detector set up, please contact our support team at support@radarshield.com. We’d be glad to help directly, and your feedback helps us make our instructions clearer for everyone.

Kind regards,
The RadarShield Team

Hi Steven,

Thank you for raising this, and we completely understand why it caught your attention.

The 4.7-star rating shown on our website reflects verified customer reviews combined from Amazon and our website store, where RadarShield has been selling for 15+ years and where the majority of our customers buy and review our detectors. You can see those reviews directly on our Amazon listings.

Our Trustpilot page is newer, which is why there were few reviews here when you visited. We’re actively building our presence on Trustpilot so customers can find feedback in more places.

If you have any questions about our products, our team is always happy to help at support@radarshield.com.

Kind regards,
The RadarShield Team
