Absolute cowboys
Absolute cowboys to deal with. They were called in by the insurance company to deal with a house clearance and damage restoration. They kept the building team waiting because they hadn't finished the house clearance after 5 months. Then seemed to do a rush job of clearing everything out. It's amazing what came back as" restored" basically boxes of mouldy and water damaged stuff. But things that couldn't have been water damaged I.E an extra large pelley case with watertight seals were written off along with climbing gear, diving kit and other expensive items that I'm guessing have ended up on eBay. I have reported these to the insurance company for them to investigate but if they turn up in your house watch them like a hawk.

Really friendly staff, did removal into a storage container on our site and worked professionally and politely throughout! Would highly recommend.
Cowboys
Been dealing with these cowboys for nearly a year. Everything has been horrendous. They are lazy and inconsistent, they basically show up for an hour or two and do half the job and then run off. They’ve retuned all my contents to me after insurance claim, filthy and full of mould. They’ve lost countless belongings and have given me other peoples belongings instead including letters and birth certificates, breaking GDPR big time.
Great response
We had a burst pipe in the loft while were away for the night. Came back to a flooded house, loft, bedroom, bathroom, living room landing and hallway. Rainbow from Hull attended and although the dry out took 3 months we couldn't fault them. Darren so helpful and responsive. Office staff in Newark also helpful. We were fortunate rainbow were on the ball as other bursts at the same time took far longer to sort.
An excellent team based in Cleveleys
Excellent throughout. From the initial visit on the Monday following the flood to the removal of the blowers and dehumidifiers they were professional, polite and very pleasant people to have helping us manage the proceses involved in an insurance claim. The team from Cleveleys kept us informed and guided us through the asbestos checking in the artex done by another company.
Vehicle fire
We had our American RV (MOTORHOME) catch fire, (on Monday 26th June) parked on our parking space, this caused severe damage to our property,(the motorhome was completely destroyed) Rainbow International Restorations have been tasked with the clean up operation (from home insurance company) and they organised everything, an air purifier (for the home) a skip for the debris, all l can say is what a fantastic job the team have done today, worked tirelessly from start to finish, extremely competent, courteous and sympathetic to our needs, the team are from the Brackley branch and deserve thanks from the company, very professional and can't recommend them enough for everything, please convey our gratitude to all.
The company are absolutely appalling
The company are absolutely appalling. Is almost 3 months since a fire was next door and they still haven’t finished cleaning. Or returned the clothes taken away for cleaning. They are not thorough. They don’t communicate well. They come for less than an hour from miles away. If 2 people had come for 1 day from 9 - 5, 2 and half months ago - the whole thing would have been finished and the awful smell gone and meant the builders and decorators could have come in - who can’t come until the cleaners have finished! I think about organising things in brewery’s!
Nobody nowadays seems to care about standards or work or indeed anything anymore.
Great service
Me and my wife recently experienced a leak from our header tank, which left water damage across multiple floors of our home. It’s been a nightmare to deal with but Rainbow have been our saving grace. They were very responsive and we had a person visit our property to assess the damage within a day. We’d like to extend our thanks to the team for the work they did- and how quickly they got the drying done.
One younger looking lad was very supportive and showed us a lot of kindness throughout the process, as it was worrying how long we could have had to be without accommodation. Unfortunately I did not get his name but if he can be identified please do pass on our thanks.
Dangerous driver in Swindon
One of their ever so friendly drivers drove dangerously in Swindon and gestured out of the window, nice! Will definitely not recommend using them.
Had a shocking awful time with Rainbow…
Had a shocking awful time with Rainbow franchise... They scoped my escape of water damaged home and left out whole rooms and areas of EOW and trace and access damage to keep RSA... their real bosses... happy by limiting liability... They did a non British standards nitrates test on one room wall and lied to me it had rising damp nitrates in it... I had a damp specialist re do the test no nitrates or rising damp!! I cannot tell you the trouble caued to me by Rainbow's 'assessments' at RSA and at the Ombudsman too ... I had no choice but to let Rainbow in to dry the property... V v substandard work... They filled my house with raw sewerage gases... Broke the disabled toilet... Cross contaminated the whole house with mould... Then left and RSA told me the house was now clean and dry... I got an expert report detailing the substandard work from Rainbow... RSA refused to believe it and Ombudsman won't listen either...i had to get another drying company in and pay for drying and fixing of rainbow's mess myself!!! Avoid RSA total cowboys at all costs btw...

Great communication and service from my local branch. They acted quickly despite probably being very busy due to the winter weather and fixed the mould problem I had in my garage. Could not recommend Rainbow enough!
Had to arrange their visit twice and still they could not stick to an agreed time
Had to arrange their visit twice, which involved taking time off, only for the prearranged times to be missed and then the arranged time to be denied by the office.
It seems that as I am over an hour away from the office it is hard to keep to the agreed time - or that is what I understood from the call I had with their office team

Rainbow International. I can not express how fantastic this company is. They went beyond our expectations and from the first phone call I made you felt relaxed and confident with no high pressure sell, everything was explained in a simple easy manner. They arrived on time and were polite and friendly very thorough and professional. The job was more complicated than expected but was seen though to the end . Much thanks for 1st class performance. Would recommend 100%.

I have no confidence in rainbow-all…
I have no confidence in rainbow-all they are doing is finding what they can to keep the insurance company happy(in this case RSA/Nationwide). Everything was an effort for the person they sent out and he left a large hole in my cupboard under the stairs that seems to have been left for me to fix. Dreadful company-they took my wooden floor up when it wasn't strictly necessary and the replacement floor is falling to bits. if your insurance company uses rainbow-beware.
No confidence in their work…
I wasn't happy with their search for an underground pipe leak, after being at my property for 6.75hours still not found and Bathroom floor left in worse state than it was, also .left orange spattering on the outside of my front porch from a pipe that they went outside to empty radiators. Turned Gas off but didn't turn my Combi Boiler off causing it to flash errors and my Plumber to have to re'set. Would not recommend them. The plus side they were courteous and polite.
Great Service
Following extensive flood damage due to a burst water pipe I requested help from Rainbow International . They arrived within 24 hours and have provided an excellent service throughout the restoration process. They were responsive and informative and consistently pleasant and polite. Danny Chand, was exceptional in his support and went that extra mile to ensure that I was fully informed and knew what to expect at each stage. Based on this experience, I would highly recommend this company.

Avoid using this company. The standard of their work is worse than poor and constant delays in completing the work.
Nearly a year of being ignored.
The team that helped me recover my property from a fire were amazing, they are the reason this review is a two star, the issues came when involving management due to lost items.
Emails directly from Wayne Crossfield (owner) regarding the missing items from the inventory were followed by excuses of furloughed staff and their 3rd party having issues disregarding the fact that Rainbow had continued working all throughout lockdowns and very active on media. Eventually he ignored any incoming emails from me asking for a resolution to the issue and nearly a year later we are no closer to seeing either our missing items or any type of compensation.
