I can see why my back order took a while to arrive . 16 serial number digits on my brand new Snowpeak AP900 from Range and Country shooting supplies. Anyway the service and delivery more than made up for the wait. I was greeted today by a punctual cheerful Peter and received my Snowpeak AP900. On the box there was a checklist with all the sections ticked and signed . The box had been carefully hand delivered to the deepest darkest part of N. Cornwall to my doorstep. I couldn't wait to open it and I was not disappointed . It was fully charged with air (which was appreciated) and I cleaned the barrel which had the usual rust inhibitor applied. I then put a Wulf fireball 4-12 x 50 scope on the picatinny top rail and headed out to my personal range on one of my permissions . With my targets set out at 10,20 25,30.40 and50 yards I loaded the oh so easy magazines with .177 9.56 gr QYS Streamlined pellets . After checking the velocity ( which was dead on the fps on the check list ) at 10.7 fps and also getting some lead through a squeaky clean barrel . It took me 8 shots to zero in at 20 yds then using holdover from a recon tripod I had 5p groups of 10 pellets right out to 50 yds. For a £315 regulated pcp air rifle which is as light as a feather, now that is what I call really good value for money . And to anyone who's thinking of buying from Range & Country I can thoroughly and wholeheartedly recommend this family run business. The items were delivered exactly on time. The driver was very friendly and explained what to do if I had any problems or concerns.

My online order was processed quickly & I agreed a delivery date with their driver, who was on time & friendly. Sadly he was given the wrong calibre of rifle to deliver; they sent me 6 tins of .22 pellets & a .177 rifle. When I called the shop to point out the error, the lady I spoke to was excellent & we'd soon arranged to have the gun replaced just over a week later. Same great delivery driver & I've no real complaints.
There was a problem & it got dealt with.
I think my biggest takeaway from Range & Country was the lack of any real customer care. Although the lady on the phone apologised, there was no follow up from the sales department. No free tin of pellets by way of an apology & no interest in getting any feedback. I will probably use them again but I found their service lacked care.
