I'm in Colchester general hospital

I'm in Colchester general hospital. The cheese sandwich is diabolical. It's a British Rail version, the spread doesn't go to the edges and there's 1 slice of cheese slapped in the middle. The ham in malted bread is dire for the same reasons. The tuna mayo is ok but wuld be better on wholemeal bread. The egg is ok but needs more filling. That's the choice you get in here. Not great or good only worth 1* review.

Eat the Packaging, It's Tastier

How did this company get a contract to provide food to NHS patients? Very poor quality sandwiches - Dry bread, no butter & chewy cheap ham - horrible. People who are unwell or recovering from surgery, need food that is nutritious & tasty not this rubbish. You'd be better off eating the self-congratulatory packaging!

Raynor Foods has lost the plot

Raynor Foods has lost the plot. Adding carbon scores to sandwiches and snacks? That’s not transparency — it’s ideological overreach. I don’t need my lunch to come with a side of guilt or a climate lecture.

This isn’t about helping customers — it’s about pushing a narrative. A food company should focus on quality, freshness, and taste, not virtue-signalling metrics that serve no practical purpose to the average consumer. What’s next, social credit scores with your crisps?

Raynor used to be about good food. Now it’s just another mouthpiece for elite agendas. I won’t be buying from them again, and I’ll be joining others in boycotting brands that treat customers like data points in a social experiment.

All over social media this sandwich…

All over social media this sandwich company now has your daily carbon allowance written on the packaging setting your carbon footprint and how much you are allowed to eat to save the planet.
Digital ID really people this is total control do not buy these foods until they stop the nonsense.
Digital ID is a lie of utter total control over your daily food allowance if you go over you will be fined or you won't be allowed to buy food again until they allow you too.
But hey whats the difference between a conspiracy theorists and the truth 🤔
About 3 months wake up.
My recent experience in hospital given one of these sandwiches was absolutely shocking. Dry bread zero butter and a thin piece of cheese and that's the nutritional value for a sick patient.
Way to go Raynors.

Rayners sandwiches at Good Hope Hospital

Had another sandwich this afternoon and it was every bit as bad as the day before I had an egg mayonnaise on brown bread ,the bread was very dry and hard the amount of butter was minimal if any at all and the filling was only in the centre seriously how is this company being allowed to feed the sick and afflicted and make them worse through such low quality food I mean how hard can it be to make a half decent sandwich ?no doubt getting paid top dollar for such an inferior product

Awful sandwich.

The sandwiches given to my mother whilst in hospital were appalling. The filling was non existent and there was no butter. Very dry and unappetising. She tried the cheese and the tuna ones.

Poor quality shocking cost

The company supply snack food to the NHS trust i work for be have a captive market. While prices are high at around £6 for crisp bag, sandwich and fizzy can drink, today's purchase was exorbitant at £7.40. Drink and crisps were same but sandwich was a non deluxe white breaded offering with two thin slices of turkey with a little cranberry sauce. Quality and taste were bland. This is just exploiting NHS employees who give so much at a time when giving, happiness and joy should be expected.

Raynor Foods Farrow Road Chelmsford Essex the worst ever in my opinion!

I have on more than one occasion be served these cheap ghastly sandwiches.
Don't this people know that in the UK we butter bread before using sickly contents to a sandwich? They are always soggy, slapped together with the meanest of filling, it makes one wonder who make the sloppy disgusting items?
The you are hungry and looking for a quick snack, all you get from this company is indigestion is the cheapest most ghastly 'things' they call sandwiches!
Avoid them like the plague, there are better snack available at a much lower price with generous fillings and made to a much better standard!

I did make contact with the company last time ... but fo course they don't another to do anything, just rake in the money!

What a terrible sandwich

What a terrible sandwich. Cheese and pickle . No butter type spread . Dry bread and don't even think ot was real cheese. It was free as I certainly wouldn't buy any of your products if that's the standard of your cheese sandwich.

Absolutely Delicious Sandwiches from Raynor Foods

Absolutely Delicious sandwiches from Raynor Foods!

I am currently an inpatient at a Hospital in Guildford, Surrey. Our menus include sandwiches from Raynor Foods and I really enjoy them. Thank You 😊

One question, in the packaging, which I see is recyclable, there is a place that says to put my sandwich quarter there... I did, I waited, and nothing happened, so I ate it! Yum yum 😋

One small request if I may, please offer a choice of lettuce, I really don't like "rocket".
