Exceptional service recovery and craftsmanship
I wanted to share my experience with RCH, which, despite a very poor initial installation, resulted in a high-quality outcome.
Following our concerns, we were contacted by a manager named Barry. He personally visited to inspect the work and agreed that the standard was not up to par. Barry promised to rectify the situation to a level he would expect in his own home; he was approachable, professional, and maintained excellent communication throughout the process.
While there were some delays in scheduling, the company stayed true to its word. They assigned Robert Young and Nathan Akin to the refit, and I cannot praise their work enough. Their professionalism and attention to detail surpassed my expectations. They worked incredibly hard under the circumstances, and I truly believe they deserve formal recognition from the company for their dedication.
The transition to high-quality timber finishings has more than compensated for the initial issues. While we have some minor sanding and sealing to complete on our end, the quality of the woodwork is excellent.
I have two minor points of feedback for the company:
Advertising Clarity: I have discussed this with Barry, but I suggest clarifying the "Dura board" advertisements to ensure customers understand exactly where it is being applied.
Scheduling: Communication regarding arrival dates could be improved. I took holiday time for scheduled dates where no one arrived due to stock issues.
That being said, RCH proved they are a company of integrity. They worked hard to rectify the issues and demonstrated what genuine customer service looks like. I would trust them to look after their customers and do the right thing.
