After realizing this, I requested a refund, as the software was not fit for the purpose I bought it for. Instead of offering a refund, the seller revoked my access to the software entirely, leaving me with nothing.

Despite multiple attempts to resolve the situation amicably, the seller refused to provide a refund and was uncooperative. This kind of behavior is extremely disappointing and reflects poorly on their business ethics. It’s clear that they prioritize profits over customer satisfaction and fairness.

I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing Redact to be cautious, especially since they have no interest in supporting customers after the sale. The lack of a refund policy and the subsequent revocation of my access to the product without any resolution is unacceptable.

Avoid this company if you value your time, money, and peace of mind.

Despite my request for a refund, they are fixated on 'restoring' access to software that I no longer need after discovering its lack of usefulness. Rather than addressing my refund request, they appear more interested in avoiding it, even though I made the request within an hour of purchase after realizing the product was unsuitable for my needs. Additionally, they are attempting to manipulate public perception on Trustpilot by replying to reviews in a way that suggests they are being helpful, which is both greedy and anti-consumer.

I recently decided to try this tool as a replacement for a Twitter cleanup script that no longer worked. When testing,
I identified a feature that didn’t quite work the way I needed - preserving large lists of tweets while still deleting my less-popular content - and not only did I get quick and responsive support along the way, they patched the app to make the process even easier than I expected. Garbage, first of all it never worked, but now they locked 95% of the features behind an expensive paywall, and for the 5% of the features they left unlocked, they limited their use to 30 days old messages only, meaning its also useless, looking for alternatives and cracks
